hey chibcha.... como esta man, are you in france now?

stay with us, stop by the conmebol foro, they are waiting for you!

colombia has not score a goal in 2003, 4 games 0-0

the strickers for col vs fra will be new, as aristizabal will play the 1st game with the national team in one yr.... he had the best season of his career with cruzeiro (campeon del brazileriao) this yr....

lets see! I see a 0-0 game, but intense, I hope not many yellow cards will damage our chances for the 3 game, as they will be very PHYSICAL to compensate for the lack of team work!

    Efer,

No I'm not in France yet, I leave on Thurs., God willing. I was going to go tonight to see Colombia-France but the wife couldn't get too many vacation days (new job). So I settled for THurs. - Tuesday. Oh well. Hopefully Colombia can beat N. Zealand when I'm there so they can bring some joy, for a change.

No, the game has not been played yet. Maybe FIFA is just trying to get a head start by anticipating a 0-0 score ;)

Actually, I predict "zee Fronsch" will be able to find the back of the net and win.

9' - Mexes booked for stopping a clean break by Elson Evelio Becerra. Almost a red, but Desailly was the last defender.

    Re: Live Game

Yeah, I'm just following along with what the tracker is doing. It does read like Colombia are playing well after a slow start.

Penalty for France. Handball. A very dodgy call, it looked like the ball hit hand.

    Henry steps up...
    Goal.

    France 1-0.

"France have now scored more goals in this tournament than they did in the 2002 World Cup!!"

i've never read anything like this from pbp by an official site.

    HT France 1-0 Colombia

France has been dominating the last 20 mins and it could just as easily be 3 or 4-0.

One player who has disappointed is Cisse. He wiffed on a couple of certain goals. The more I watch him play the more I'm unimpressed.

That's why official sites suck. Whenever possible, read the stuff on the Guardian's website. Barry Glendenning is brilliant, even (especially) when he's harassing Liverpool.

    and Eurosport disagrees:

"...the Colombians are finding it increasingly difficult in dealing with the power of the French especially on the left inside right channel where Cisse is phenomenal"
