Totally deserved 1-1 in Hamburg today!
Great game against really really bad Hamburgers...
Lastminute goal by Cha Doo Ri.
Yeah, I guess I can say that Im rather satisfied with that!
Im only dissappointed in Meier, and in the fact that Funkel waits till the 85th Minute or so to bring in the two attackers Cha and Van Lent... I really think he should change more early.
Oh well, for the hard programm that we have at the beginning of the season, the 4 points that we got now are absolutely ok. We won the game that we had to win´(nuremberg) and we gained one point out of 4 games where realistically you really couldnt have expected one...

On tuesday I wanna see a 5-0 against Bayern! (like in the good old times)

I have a good feeling about the FCB game. If we get stuck into them from the start like we did against Hamburg I think we can finish them off. 2-1 will do for me.

Bummer of a result against the Golden Girls. We are going to pay dearly if we continue to squander our chances.

IMHO since Chris has come back in we've looked a much better team.

Okay, Jones is now gone for three games, but to my mind, this is a good chance for Daniyel Cimen. I hope that Funkel has the confidence to throw the young lad in. He can tackle and pass and has great positioning sense. He is also very mobile and can pop up for a goal or two. He's a small guy but he's as tough as a bag of nails.

Wolfsburg, watch out!

Okay, Funkel didn't have much courage in his selection. We were okay in the first half and didn't deserve to go behind. Wolfsburg were flattered.

In the second half we were mostly muck, so I suppose Wolfsburg were value for the three points in the end.

I didn't expect us to do much in the first ten games this season, but, Christ, it's hard to take all the same!

I'd imagine the Schalke game will be similar to the Bayern one, so anything can happen. At least we've stopped leaking goals.

yeah, you basically said it all Old Uncle...
i am also beginning to wonder about some of Funkels choices...

what really annoys me is amanatidis. i bet those guys in lautern are allready laughing their *** off that we actually paid 2 million for him... i mean the guy can hardly stop a ball, he seems very lost out there... maybe he should get a game or two pause and arie should start for him. we all know that ama can do better, but the condition he is in right now is just horrible...

I did like zimmermann tough! He played an allright game and definitely deserved the applaus that he got at the end of the game! you could actually feel how glad he was about that!

I also dont worry to much about this season yet. the start was extremely hard, and i didnt expect more point to come out of these games than what we got now. i just hope the pressure isnt to high by the time the "small" teams come up...
a point or 3 against schalke wouldnt be too bad...

Once again the same procedure as every week...

Eintracht played a fairly good game for one hour, had more of the game, had severall good chances but just didnt manage to use one of them...
Then Schalke has their first or second real chance and scores...
Im really getting sick of it...

One main problem is that only two of our players constantly play at the same level. Vasoski is always good and Amanatidis always sucked so far. The rest cant even controll a ball or play a pass in oen game , but then play a great game a week later... (Köhler, Meier, Chris especially)

I would like to see Arie start or Cimen. But I dearly hope that Ama and Huggel dont start again for a while... they just plain sucked the last weeks. Huggel actually had a fairly good seasonstart, but anymore he is just not capable for the Budnesliga. He takes every single bit of speed out of the game, as he never seems to sprint and he always passes to his sides... he really is the slowest player i have ever seen, i hope thats just momentarily...

Well, now the pressure is high in Duisburg, doesnt exactly make it easyer for the young team, well see what happens...

great win against duisburg on sunday!
a little lucky as duisburg should have had a penalty, but none the less absoultely deserved. we could have easily scored 4 or 5 goals...
I especially liked Chris, Meier and Copado! They played a great game, very offensive, always pushing and with some actually pretty nice plays in between...
the game shows that we are absoultely on par with the last 7 teams, and can easily beat every one of them. So far we have played two of the teams on our level, we dominated both and won both...
If another victory follows against the goat-lovers then things should be looking rather good...

wow, what an amazing game!
we dominated cologne for the whole 90 minutes, and from the 8th minute on they basicly never had a chance of getting some points here.
the whole team played great football, extremely offensive and very effective. the 2 last goals by cologne were basically presents given to them so it could as well have been 6-1...
that game proves my point again that we are not on the bottom of the league in terms of team-quality. All 3 games against other bottom-teams we dominated and won. With a little luck in the future we should be able also to get some points from games against "bigger" teams. the next two agaisnt schlacke (cup) and Bremen will be harder again...
But if this team can hold their form up that they had the last two games, i think that there are certainly at least 3 teams that will be place below us in the end...
Nice to see that also Amanatidis is finally finding back to his strength. Meier had probably his best gaem ever yesterday, and also copado, chris and köhler were impressing. plus vasoski will probably appear in polids nightmares again... he took him out of the game just like he did last season...

On top of all the new Eintracht-maskott was in the stadium for the first time yesterday. "Attilla" is a real golden eagle with a wingspan of 1,90m!
I really really dont like maskotts, but I think this is juts the coolest animal ever!
Plus Im hoping that in the away-match in cologne he might just appear out of nowhere to catch that stupid goat of theirs, and in triumph fly a whole round through the stadium with it and then take it away.... muhahahaha
oh well if he doesnt like goats he can also take poldi...

That's a great mascot. I ussually hate nothing more than mascots , ok Cheerleaders, but real animals are cool and I must admit Attila is even cooler than Cologne's goat.

WOW!
I just got home and I still cant believe what happened here...
I have talked to people that follow Eintracht since 30 years and more, they were there in the golden seventies, they were there for the Eurocup 80, they were there during "football 2000" in the 90s, and they all said that they can not remember anything like this!
12 goals within 3 days, against Bundesligasites! absolutely amazing!

After the cologne game the media was full of how bad cologne was and everything bud barely anybody said how GOOD we were!
I think now they will have to do that...
I mean Schalke wasnt exactly that bad today, they played a good first half and the 2-0 halftimescore was pretty lucky i thought.
The second half was nothing but a gala tough!
Once again this team showed brilliant football!
And we fans were o so thankful for every minute of it!
Its been a long time since such beautiful football was celebrated here in Frankfurt! Im just hopinf or a vew more games like this...

BY the way, Klinsi was there today, maybe he should rethink his NT-squad.... lol

And the diss after the 4-0 was the funniest thing ever.
You know how shalkefans always sing that song where one half chants "SCHALKE" and the other repeats "NULL VIER (04)"
So our capo would just scream "SCHEISSE" and all of us respondet "NULL VIER" (04)... Im still just laughing my *** off.... lol

thats enough, Im gonna go and have me some more Applewine!
