this is what i needed, i have to get past the pain and suffering in "losing" in the stupid overtime. stupid mls.

anyway, this is what it is all about, back-to-back games with our biggest rival, with important ramfications for the playoffs and the rest of the season.

i am looking forward to going up to scumland and seeing them humiliated in that hellhole they call a stadium.

I can't wait to sing the whole way home after stomping their sorry Scum-sucking asses to a pulp.
I hope guevara takes a dive and bumps his head on the astroturf and knocks himself into a coma. I hope Clint cuts his head evening out his mohock and can't stop the bleeding. I hope Mike Magee gets chicken pox, or some other childhood disease. I hope Richie gets shorter. I hope Pope has other obligations and doesn't come to the game, or gets so fed up with his piece-of-s*it team, he leaves the field and comes and sits with us in the stands.
I hate the Meadowlands, it is the dirtiest, most uncomfortable place I have ever watched a game at ... and it is in NJ to boot....

OK here comes the BIG stretch of 6 games to end the season, 5 games coming against the 3 teams we're DIRECTLY playing against for the playoffs and playoff positioning

I think we can win this one, I HOPE we don't go in there and bunker and/or come up w/another ridiculous lineup. The lineup we had at home vs LA, not bunkering, can beat the Metros. F them let's go out and beat the s out of em. No respect.

    Re: Pre game festivities?

We usually end up parking near the practice bubble (not sure what lot that is, anyone?) People will be bringing their own food and drinks for the ride and/or tailgating.

I'm almost positive, in fact I am positive that the lineup you are reffering to is the same lineup used to defeat both LA and SJ at home.. It was merely the tactics used on Saturday in LA that gave us no opportunity to win..

If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times, until Hudson/Trask realize that we can play and win these matches on the road straight up, we will continue to drop points on the road regardless of who we play..

We need to start treating these road matches like were heading in to play Scunthorpe United and not Manchester United..

I think I speak for most college students on these boards when I note that 1:00 am is a fairly civil hour for a DC game.

greatscott - Talk Like a Pirate Day was last week. ;)

I believe both Mathis and Guevara are one card away from 21 caution points. So if we can bait them into getting another we won't have to deal with them on Sunday.

    Doooooh!!!!
I did not know that. Iwould have been a hungry/thirsty boy.
How much room will there be on the bus for everyone to bring their own stuff??
Or should I just bring some certain thing to share with everyone?? ie sausages, burgers, beer (A given) or whatever???
I can definitely bring my own weight in meat and drinks.
Please let me know what is required and Ill do what I can.
(Should this be on the trip thread??)

I'll be leaving for Germany this Wednesday so I'll miss this game. I'll make a toast to our Red & Black while I'm guzzling beer at some Oktoberfest beer garden. Make me proud DC fans. My prediction,

    DC-2, Losers-0

Can't make it for the trip to Mordor, but I will most definitely represent on Sunday. Darth Norteño will show his true face...which reminds me, I may need to buy some more red paint.

    Metros, Metros, METROS!!!!!!!!!

We have METROS standing in front of us the next 2 games, METROS standing in front of an Open Cup final, and it's very possible METROS in the 1st round of the playoffs, maybe at home if we can beat the METROS

If there was EVER a time to start hating the METROS, NOW IS THE TIME!!

Let's KILL THEM just like last year when we KICKED them out of the playoffs, destroyed their season, cost their coach Zambrano his job

    Time for some SERIOUS METRO-HATING

I take time off to laugh at them too. That '99 season........

Let us DESTROY that team. We have the talent, playing well, KILL THEM. EMBARASS THEM

F them and all they ever pretended they did represent, which as well all know they have represented what amounts to jack s. The real team is down here in DC, and it's time to teach them another hard lesson with NO MERCY
