We won two (2) games in a row. We also scored two (2) goals in one game. This is incredible.

 

From Knave's commentary, sounded like the crowd was NUTS. As I'm sure all of us were while listening to it in the chatroom, can't wait to hear about this one from those that were at the game.

 

We got some hardware! The team is currently touring the stadium with the Atlantic Cup. (Ray still looks pissed, however.)

Who would have thought about this one three weeks ago? In order for this to happen, the Crew must once again sweep Chicago, United must win out and New England would have to either tie or defeat Dallas and then beat the Metros.

 

well done on the win. All we need in Columbus now is a draw against Chicago on the plastic pitch to finish top of the east.

It's sooooo sweeeeet to beat the Scum. Someone on the Revs boards said Shep Messing was dissing the importance of the Atlantic Cup to MLS. What an idiot. Maybe he should check out the DCU boards and he'll get an idea of what it all means. Fingers crossed that the Revs slip up, the Crew repeat the result against the Fire next week and we keep this unprecedented form against the Burn. It's a lot to ask, but after losing to the Scum 3 weeks ago I never thougt we had this chance, so I'll take it with the proverbial hope and a prayer. Here's to a playoff game or two here in the Bay Area. Come on Soccer Gods, remember how you smiled on us in 96? Wasn't that fun?
