let me just interject that the barra tailgate is shaping up to be a classic. i already know of 3 people going over the top with food they are bringing. i know other brothers and sisters will bring their best. both the Capn and Mr. Jamison are confirmed. in addition to the lucky rock i know all coolers will be filled to the brim. in short, its a playoff atmoshpere in lot 8--the best food and booze yet this year. all barra members should show up as close to one as possible--and please, drink early and often.
damn, its 5 am and i have been up since 4 worrying about this game. the loss of earnie could be huge. i hope he feels better, we can definitely use him today, even just for 45. i don't think the stuff about ray in the post today will be that big a deal. much of that can't be news to the squad. good to hear convey is feeling better. he looked like death warmed over after the cup semi, coughing and looking miserable. i still like our chances at home. we are a pretty tough team at home, we likely can scrape a point out of this unless overtime takes its usual chunk out of our ass.
Game Day!! I just got back from fixing my perants furnace and realized how chilly it is today. Shorts or jeans....I hope that's the toughest decision I have to make today.
I'm bringing two people (possibly three, if he can finish at work quickly enough) people into section 134-135. I hope they're ready. I know I am!
Don't forget the standard for passing out set by our own beloved DB. It is a third option (and much more comfortable on the body). All you have to do is sit down and pass out. Damn, it's gonna be a fun day!! GM
