    someone had to start it....

Although unmarked, his header was pretty nice. Johnson wud have put it wide.

Our best striker. What ever that means.

I'd give Glen a little more time before tagging that to him. A goal in his first start is great but he needs to follow up, as does the rest of the team, from the RSL game. It wouldn't be logical to judge a player from one start. If he continues to score and starts producing more than the other forwards like RJ, THEN I'd say he's our best striker. But then again, do we even have any 'strikers'? ;)

Glen showed he takes his chances, unlike Johnson.

I wasn't too sure about this signing. It seemed desperate. But he at least seems to know how to get in position. On the other hand Arturo scored in his first game with us after the trade and he hasn't exactly set the world on fire...

But Arturo takes his chances as well. He may not get a scoring opportunity every game but when he gets one he will take it.

    Re: Official Cornell Glen Thread

Glen did a lot of holding the ball up and allowing other players to come forward and join the attack (like Zaher's overlaps with Denton... )

the header showed his experience - someone like him puts away a chance like that (he was pretty much unmarked as pointed out earlier)

it's a shame he's got to go play for T&T *but* it might help him get match fit - if the Quakes can whip him into shape and he's willing to work at it to make a difference soon, he'll do us well i think.

i hope what we see from Glen is someone who isnt afraid of taking his chance in the area. it seemed like very few took a chance when given one this season.

Many MLS players must be on P-1s, and diplomatic websites can be hard to decipher -- did anyone send him a list of documents that he needed to bring? Just wondering.

The team website lists Joe Dincecco as the Team Administrator. My guess is that it's his job to administrate such things.

On a side note, it's funny how they have Glen on the front page of the site promoting the scum game. The FO must have thought there'd be no problem with Glen securing his P1 visa by the time this game cam around. D'OH!!

So...what's the deal with Glen? 3 weeks after being told that it would take another week and I haven't seen any update. Did I miss something?

The T&T vs El Salvador game isn't on TV anywhere is it? Or is there a reliable stream somewhere?
