Will there be a keg there? If not, I've got some Stella Artois chilling in the refrigerator that i've been saving for just such an emergency :D Hell, I might bring them anyway!

Just tried to renew* online...got SQL errors after the page where I enter Member Information and click Submit. (I'm using IE 6.0.2600.0000, FYI.)

Will the membership table be at the tailgate Saturday? I can just bring dues to that, I guess.

    * I'm a procrastinator that could care less about club "seniority"; I've joined three times previously including original Club Clash. I presume I'm not the only one, either... ;)

Not sure why this is happening, but if you are experiencing difficulty, just send email to membership@clubquake.org, and they'll fix you up.

What time will you guys be out there untill? Unfortunatly I have a game in Redwood city at 3 so I obviously can't make it that early, but it's my understanding you'll be handing out the membership cards and such at the BBQ, so any alternative options would be appreciated :)

Are the Club Quake/Casbah scarves in yet? Will they be available at the tailgate?

They *should* be here by then. I or someone else from CQ will post an update when they are here for sure.

BK, bring it. I really don't understand why you guys are starting in the afternoon. I figure a trooper like BK would start in the AM.

The scarves arrive tomorrow. They will be available for pick-up only at the 4/19 tailgate so anyone who wants one needs to order online at www.clubquake.org ahead of time.

    I ordered my two tonight.

Starts at 2-2:30 and we go until 6:30. No in and out privileges so if you go in for the C-rays that's it. You can't come back out.

There will be a keg at the tailgate. You can bring the Stella anyways, or you can save it for the LA game.

Hey, I'll be there when the parking gates open. I'll have my official "Joe Cannon was pissed off and threw it into the stands" Mitre Match Ball for some pick-up games and...

...oh you mean you just wanted to get drunk.

    nevermind.

WOOOHHHHOOOOO! I just got the email about who the guest player is going to be! Great choice for the season opener! For all non-CQ members you are missing out on great fun. The Guinness is already in the fridge.

All that I ask for is that awesome nacho cheese sauce! :)

    Go Quakes!

Hell, let's put on a 3v3 tournament. It won't happen though since I'm too dam lazy to organize, and I probably won't get there until 3/4.

Long time Quakes fan, potential Clubquake member here.

Hubby and I were thinking of jumping into Clubquake this year. We're noisy beer drinkin' big quakes fans, so we figure we'll fit right in. :) I put it off, but after reading this thread I realized we better get around to signing up. So my question is - will there be a signup table at the BBQ, or should I just sign up online tomorrow? Will it go through on time?

Okay, talk me into it now...I'm *this* close to signing up....

You can sign up online if you wish at...

    http://www.clubquake.org/membership.php

...or there will likely be a registration table at the BBQ (there usually is.)

I will say it is $$ well spent! Great people, a fun organization that offers a lot of perks not otherwise available to the general public. PLUS!!!...a player often attends the BBQs. Johnny Moore usually stops by and is very gracious with his time in discussing the team. The club offers packages for travel/tickets/rooms for the LA road trips...so much more.

If you are a really big fan, this is the place for you. I also love it because, during the off-season, a lot of us "sustain" each others' need to talk footie on this bulletin board. CQ is GREAT!!!

Oh you gotta! I have to tell you that my enjoyment for the Quakes skyrocketed after I joined. It's a wonderful group of people! And we love our Quakies. I've met some great people and I really enjoy the games so much more now.

The benefits are great. Well worth the very small fee it is to join.

If you want to join now, then do it. You won't be sorry. I promise. But if you want to wait, please, please, please at least stop by the tailgate on Saturday. Come by and introduce yourselves. Hang out. Talk Quakes. Have some fun. I guarantee that, if you haven't already, you'll want to join.

Don't be shy! Stop by the tailgate whether you've joined or not. It's tons of fun!

For folks who might be interested the C-ray's will have their traditional pre-game parking lot walk through at 2:30pm (no autographs please). Please don't feed Katia doughnuts no matter how much she may beg.:)

I'm officially hyped for tomorrow. Can't wait to join everyone at the tailgate nice and early (provided Comcast fixes my digital cable box on time).
