    Two off-topic questions.

ForzaGrifo - Did you just leap from Chelski's bandwagon to Barça's?

The Old Lady Hertha - Where's Ostkurve?

How is he a racist? Does he have a prior record?

As big a fan as I’m, I have to say it was pretty stupid of him to throw an elbow like that. The worst way possible to handle the situation.

I'm surprised to see after so many years playing overseas he still hasn't learned to either land an elbow without getting seen by the ref or at least make sure it lands if he's really going to throw an elbow. To show clear intent with the demonstration of the full motion of throwing an elbow in air, and getting redded for it, is simply stupid.

Agreed it probably was worth a red card and it was silly of Sun but it was the additional match ban that has confused me, surely it should have only been a 1 or 2 match ban, 4 seems excessive

I can't explain that either. Usually the max is 3 matches. It could get more if there's a prior offence, which is the confusing part here. Sun did have a prior red, but it was from a preseason game. So all in all the penality does look excessive.

That preseason red card was successfully appealed. He was on the bench for the season-opener. I don't know why it counts now.

Exactly. Can City appeal this time?

Probably, but I don't think they will after hearing Psycho's quotes.

Good eye xfact. Yeah call me a bandwagoner. I switched "allegiance" after Chelsea was outskilled and outmatched by Ronaldinho and Barca. :)

Dong is on loan from Man Utd right? That's what I think but I wanted to check...

I don't know if he has prior record. I just blurted out racist because the red card definitely seems a bit harsh, especially when the throwing of the arm did not make any contact whatsoever with the player.

Of course the ref did not have the luxury of slow mo and different angles like we see on TV, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. But in my book it was a yellow card offense at most.

Stupid decision by Sun. It was a full swing like a goddamn WWF move. A costly mental lapse.

He was playing great football lately too. He said sorry but I'm sure Psycho has to be pretty angry at him.

Yes correct. But Dong doesn't have a UK work permit yet as he hasn't played enough games at the senior NT level.

Yeah that last game was more than two years ago. Maybe this will stop Zhu Guanghu from calling him up for the next few friendlies.

He looked very uncomfortable in reserve and friendly games. I sort of thought he had another problem, but I thought it was just a lack of fitness. Guess not.

    Oh well.
