    Shi Jun scored 89th minute to tie the game? Only the great ones does that. Wow, that's amazing. This better translate to consistent playing time.

    No I will be in Liverpool to see Everton-Arsenal.

    The way things are going, Energie should beat Hertha. :(

    Dong is on the bench and I think he will play against the European XI...not a bad way to come into the team :) ,even if its a friendly:)

    Which one are you talking about? The one where he kind of volleyed it near post and Coupet saves? Or the offside one, where the it is played across the goal, the defender doesn't clear it, but Dong doesn't connect?

    I'm quite disappointed with him actually. He didn't really show enough composure on the first chance. He kind of panicked when no defender was around, and weakly volleyed it near-post, where Coupet saves. He really should have gone far post I think. The second chance was ruled offside, which saves him from some embarassment. He really should have put it in the back of the net anyway, but instead he misses it completely. Very embarassing.:eek:

    Some nice touches and passes though, and he seemed very eager to get on the scoresheet. Didn't really have a chance to show off his pace, but got into some good positions.

    Oh well, I'm sure he'll do better in the future. :)

    For the first one I thought Park got in his way a bit.
    For the second one, I thought I saw (this is coming from a bad live stream, so bear with me) that it got deflected a bit and Dong was trying to adjust to the path of the ball.

    I thought he made a quality long ball to get Cole into the right hand channel.
    I also thought that he did okay in possession outside the 18 yard box.

    He is not the finished product, not by a long shot, but I think I was more encouraged with his display than you were.

    Well I was watching on BBC Three, who didn't actually show the replay of the second incident, so I don't know if there was a deflection. A good striker should anticipate it anyway. The first incident, Park was kind of in his way, but I still think he should have done better. Maybe because Park was there, he couldn't pick out the far corner, but he still should get more power on it. He kind of jumped in the air needlessly to connect with it.

    I just remembered him to be better. I was in the stadium in Hong Kong when he played his first ever match for Man U and scored, and I think he showed a lot more in that match than he did today. Sure, the Hong Kong defence is a lot poorer than the likes of say, Ivan Campo and Carragher, but today was an exhibition match, which practically means defenders don't take their responsibility so seriously.

    He did pass well though and didn't really lose the ball much, which is encouraging.

    Man, Sun Xiang is a very usefull player. He can play good as left back, left mid and left attack :) . Big chance he will start against Ajax, this time as left winger :p
