I agree with this and what Dre00 said earlier. Any group that wants to show up and support this team is ok with me regardless of the language. I say the more diverse the better, after all, Houston is a diverse city. I think it'd be great if we had chants in 10 different languages. English is the national language and it should be spoken by people that live here and participate in society. But for the games I say let them cheer and support the team however they want. I'll be singing right along.
If we have every word end in "o" coming up with chants would be supper easy. Hecto bibo leero Dynamo! Hecto bibo leero Dynamo! That roughly translates to "Let's kick their ass, Dynamo!"
Houston is the most devirse city of all the MSL cities. We have people from every contry in world here and maybe people from other planets who knows? I LOVE HOUSTON!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO DYNAMOS!!!!!!!!!! VIVA LOS DYNAMOS!!!!!!!!!
Guys...found this link on the net...may get some ideas... http://www.footballchants.org/ Of course..you can make it your own...
There was a city that had a team And Dynamo was its name-o D-Y-N-A-M-O D-Y-N-A-M-O D-Y-N-A-M-O And Dynamo was its name-o
I love this one and it is short, easy and gets the job done. ### Hi Ho - by troutseth HI HO . . . HI HO We are the Dynamo . . . We'll kick you ass Out on the grass HI HO . . . HI HO HI HO HI HO I also like the chant when we march in, but once we get in the stands Have no fear, the Army's here Have no fear, the Army's here Loud and Proud now where's the Beer The Texian Army's Here! Just a thought!
Forgive for not reading through all the chants and If I repeat something... I'm bored at work.... D-Y-N Clap clap clap A-M-O Clap clap clap D-Y-N, A-M-O, DYNAMO! Clap clap clap repeat as needed (Sung to My Country, Tis of Thee) Dwayne de Rosario, Forever Dynamo, Scores many goals, Always up to fight, Brings vict'ries every night, Say his name till morning light, Dwayne de Rosario! More to follow.
Dude, In case you didn't know, there is no offical language in the US. Most soccer fans in the US are Spanish speakers, so why try and tell us that our language should not be used? Second, how would you like it if someone bough a baseball team (america's sport) and named them the 9/11s? You don't even know what the issues with the name are, so why do you make a ridiculous post like this?
hahaha dejalo pobre frustrado le duele que los canticos que mas retumban en el estadio son los que cantamos en espanol pero bueno la neta esta chido la variedad ingles-espanol asi como le hicimos el sabado *HoUsTon MaNdA*
Some states, such as Sweden, Tuvalu, the United Kingdom, and the United States have no official language, From Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Official_language
Dude got pwned, like this <slamming toes on bedpost corner>!! Well, just to get this topic back on track here are some other chants for our beloved ref's (I don't care what anyone says, these guys really know how to call a game): Nuts and bolts Nuts and bolts We got screwed (my favorite) You find a rope I'll find a tree We'll go hang a referee -¡Jes!-
This one is different from that one. It has a different rhythm/beat. O-le, O-leeeeeeee, O-le, O-looooooooo Esa Banda Locaaaaaa, De Los Dynamooooooo
I got one for D-Ro. Sing it to the tune of "I love you, baby" ****************************************************** We love you D-Ro, cos you've got cornrow, We love you D-Ro, cos you score a goal (or We love you D-Ro, cos you score us goals), We love you D-Ro, cos you're Dynamo through and through ****************************************************** What do you think?
Get some! Get some! Get some in Houston! ...just a thought when i was chanting dale dale houston Watch this vid:http://youtube.com/watch?v=bSMwQnGRXe4 I wouldn't mind teaching you guys some Greek lol We can make a variation of our own and add Dynamo and it'll be a great chant. Might sound cool in Spanish too; I know Turkish and German fans try to do it. But we can do better!
holy hell man! That chant is freak'n crazy and all for a basketball game too! I would love to have this as one of our chants
WOW!!!! That chant (translated in any language) would fire up any crowd. I think that is the point of this sticky.
