That second goal was worthy of Pele! Figures that wasn't a romanian player...

Very nice win - I was surprised by CFR's flowing football. This should really motivate Steaua and I expect another war of words between the two teams. :)

Trombetta worked for Napoli in the past. ;)

Great game Cluj, congrats! I hope you repeat the feat in Romania! :D

Anybody watching the game against Chelski?

Damn, it's really tough to concentrate on 2 live-streams (Inter vs Bremen, CFR vs Chelsea) at the same time...;)

Btw: It's still 0:0 after almost 60 minutes.

Cluj was only defending in the 2nd half (from what I've seen while zapping), but suddenly had the big chance to score the winner just 5 minutes before the end of the game. Unfortunately Perreira missed resp. great save by Czech.

Well, a 0:0 against Chelski is a very respectable result! Congrats!

After the 1:2 away defeat in Timisoara, CFR can already write off defending the title.

Not a good game for CFR against Bordeaux. They still have a good chance for 3rd place. If they change something in their game.

CFR plays against Sarajevo in the playoff for the eurocup. Not a bad draw.
All 5 Romanian teams have good chances. Good luck to all of them.

Before that, CFR has a dificult game in Ghencea, against Steaua. It should be a good game.

CFR lost to Dinamo. I watched the last 30 min, it seemed like CFR played better, they had a few chances to score, then came the M.Niculaie goal. It was a nice one.

I watched the MLS final, and at some point they showed Drew Carey. It looks so much alike Iuliu Muresan, the CFR boss.

Brasov - CFR 0-1, and CFR are the leaders of the Romanian league. G. Muresan controlled the midfield, had a great deffensive game.

    Brasov need a real coach.

Another step towards the 2nd championship title.

In the '80s I used to go see their games. They were playing in 3rd division at that time... Hard to believe.

U Craiova - CFR 2-3, and CFR is one step closer to the title.

Great game. 2 nice goals from Craiova. Bud's goal that tied at 2 was great. A red card for CFR specific for Romanian league. A deserved victory for CFR.

CFR - International 2-1, and CFR are the champions! 2 titles in 3 years. Congratulations.

Major props for keeping this thread updated like this. Congrats to CFR. Bucharest clubs can certainly get a few titles here and there, but from now on Bucharest domination in the league is over.

CFR won the supercup too. It was an interesting game. 2-2 after 120 min. 4-2 after penalties.

CFR has some pretty good signings so far: Bielanovic, Kivuku, Hora are good players.
The teams from Bucharest are gonna have a hard time to take back the top spot...

Unirea, U. Craoiva and CFR are with out any doubt the hardest teams now days... Steaua is doing a good squad with good competitive players (not from the league of Cyprus!!) but with this teams will be very tough
