I don't want explain my passion about Boca to someone who is fan of River....don't worry that's joke.

I really like Argentinian football and I always watch your league (One of our TV station show it). Maradona is for me the best football player ever.

About jersey...hmm...When I bought that, Tevez was in Juve and jersey of Riquelme wasn't on stock but Osvaldo is my one favorite player because of his charisma and some skills. :)

Greetings for red small part of BA :)

In Spanish there is an easy phrase to explain our passion about Boca to a fan of riBer.

    "Un amor que no desciende".

    It means two things:

    A love that doesn't diminish.
A love that doesn't get relegated (like our poor feathered friends who recently were relegated to the 2nd division).

    :D

Time for Palacio to return to Boca. Forget about Inter they are going nowhere and it's Icardi's team now.

Palacio is 34. A Tevez Palacio front line would be great and send Osvaldo back to Italy.

I'd be for that. Palacio > Palacios oddly enough. :p

Possible reinforcements and as usual lots of smoke.

    1) Walter Bou (Striker, from Gimnasia): This one is done. The brother of Gustavo played in Boca's inferiores and had a good season at Gimnasia, scoring seven goals. At 22, he is more a bet on the future than a huge reinforcement for the present.

    2) Wanchope Abila (Striker from Huracan): Tevez wants him and the fans want him. Not sure how much Guille wants him. He would be expensive.

    3) Darío Benedeto (Striker from America de Mexico). He is a huge Bostero with tattoo to prove it and he wants to leave America. Would be expensive but is a good option.

    4) Fernando Zuqui (Midfielder, Godoy Cruz). One of the best players this season, he is very close to Boca.

    5) Guido Pizarro (Midfielder, Tigres Mexico). Guille really wants him, he would be a great replacement for Gago. He would be a great signing for La Copa. Very expensive though, and surely he has other options.

    6) Jean Beausejour (Left wing-back, Colo-Colo). Excellent option, but Colo-Colo understandably wants lots of money and there is interest from European clubs. Though one but we can dream.

    7) Alvaro Pereira (left back, Getafe). Palito is always mentioned, and Guille likes him. Would be a good option if Boca can manage it.

    8) Gustavo Gomez (central defense, Lanus). Guille loves him, he would be a great option to shore up the aging defense.

    9) Diego Polenta (central defense, Nacional Uruguay). An option if Gomez does not come. Played well against Boca in Libertadores. riBer also wants him.

    10) Silvio Romero: (Forward, Chiapas Mexico). Excellent player, this one sounds like empty smoke, though.

Of the players returning from loan, the most significant who return are Magallán and Marín, and possibly Castellani, although Lanus has an option and wants him back.

Significant players who might leave (in addition to Osvaldo who is already gone) include Palacios, Colazo, Erbes, Peruzzi and Betancur. In addition, Silva, Tobio and Lodeiro will most likely stay only until Copa Libertadores is over.

Santiago Vergini signs with Boca Juniors

Junior Benitez may come on loan in time to get into the Copa Libertadores list.

    ALTAS
    :

Podría llegar a préstamo.

Didn't realize Lodeiro was getting MLS attention. Seattle wants to pay $7 million for him of which Boca would get $3.5 million, but we paid $2.5 million so it wouldn't be super profitable for us. Would be a coup for MLS though.

Andrés Chávez has signed with my team São Paulo. What's your take on him? Can he fill in Calleri's shoes?

He has the talent but is nowhere near as consistent as Calleri, IMO. I always found myself frustrated by him as he's not a very efficient producer. Wastes a lot of chances.

Does anyone know the status of Gago?
I wonder how many games he will play until he gets injured again...
I see Sebastian Perez is on the radar he looks like a good prospect..

I was right about this BTW. He completely turned around Seattle's season. They were out of the playoff race when he arrived and now they are going to the MLS Cup final!

And now Lodeiro is an MLS Cup champion. Took a really nice penalty as the 5th kicker to send it to extra rounds. Right in the top corner.

"Shanghai Shenhua said Thursday that it paid an $11 million transfer fee to Argentine club Boca Juniors."

    Well that's good at least.

    LOL

If that was a real offer, Seattle Sounders are the dumbest MFers out there... Some of the Chinese clubs are overpaying for players lately, but 14 million for.... Benedetto?

Yeah I get having to outbid others but that's absurd. Boca only paid like $4 million for him?
