So do I. There's something to be said for feeling compassionate towards someone whose heart is in the right place to the point where they'll wreck their dignity for the cause. There was an article about him a few months back (in the NYT Magazine) and it made for some sad reading. Truth be told, he's been used in this way forever. I remember my father - no sports fan - going down to the Univ. of Bridgeport way back when with some guys from work to 'go see Manute'.
