Episode 1 For those of you complained that there were a lack of whackings in The Sopranos, you get more than your fair share in one episode of Oz. Tonight, the Beecher-Schilenger war took another victim, as Toby's dad was stabbed by Vern's Prag. Only suprise is that Mr. Beecher lasted that long. It seems that Kirk is pretty messed up with all his talk of having Satan in him. Kind of shocking that Cyril was also talking the same way. Anyone think that McManus is dumb for putting Alvaraz back in Em City was a dumb thing. I bet he is one who doesn't survive the season. Overall, a good start to the final season.
The scene with Shilinger's beeyotch swallowing seed (with some dripping off his mouth) was a little much. Even for HBO. I had stopped watching Oz a couple years ago because I thought it was going downhill fast. Figured I'd tune in last night since it's The Final Season, and who knows what will happen (...)? But the show still sucks. Probably should have been retired after Season Three.
