    For starters, Cahill was never a striker, he was a box-to-box midfielder, he has only recently moved forward around the time he moved to the MLS, which makes his 40 goals for Australia all the more amazing.

    I think you misinterpret "like", Cahill is an Everton legend and a very unique player with his aerial power from midfield.

    Cahill was as much a striker as Ki is for Swansea and as for knocking his Asian Cup performance, he was still one of the top scorers in the Cup, despite being 35, he's two years older than Park Ji-Sung, how'd he go in the Asian Cup?

    Cahill played most of his career as a midfielder and only started playing up front irregularly in 2011 at club level and then full time at Intl level in 2012
