Worst case scenario he will have 15 games in the Serie A to perform. If he keeps up his goal to game ratio he should have ca 12 goals by the end of the season.

I think if he gets 8 goals in 15 games it'll be an already great start for him. Serie A is more of a defensive-minded league and the top scorer (Tevez) is "only" at 13 goals in 19 games.

I honestly believe in Doumbia and with the supply he will have at Roma he can easily get that figure. He is the best finisher statistically in any top league.

EPL gets even more Senegalese: Dame N'doye sealed move to Hull City before the deadline, meanwhile left back Pape Souare joins Crystal Palace. Senegal now has 8 premier league players (Cisse, Mane, Diame, Diouf, Sakho, Kouyate and the two new recruits).

Kara Mbodj was also supposed to join West Ham, but they missed the deadline.

    ---
Meanwhile Seydou Doumbia finally joins a top league and will play for Roma. For 15 mln Roma ripped off CSKA Moscow.

Sadio Mane made history in football. 3 goals in 3 minutes. 13, 14,16.

Thanks, I was about to post this. Beat Robbie Fowler's record for fastest PL hat-trick (2'56" for Mané against 4'33" for Fowler).

He's had a great season so far for his PL debut.

Shame the rest of the team lost form and didn't perform to the same standards. The second half of the season was at times practically a Sadio Mane one-man show. If he didn't win the game Southampton usually lost.

    Whats the European league record?

Made a quick fact check and it seems that Sadio Mane holds the record for the fastest hattrick in European first division club competitions.

No, sorry. Joel Pohjanpalo scored in 2 min. 40 seconds in the Finnish Premier League.

Well, the team was overachieving during the 1st part of the season. Still a succesful season if they can finish 6th or so.

Well, you answered your own question, but at the very least Mané's hattrick is the fastest in a top league, I guess?

I think Mane is the single one. I don't remember Messi to score 3 goals so fast.

Well, it's been disappointing so far. He has only 2 goals in 12 apps, but keep in mind he only gets around 40 mins per game (on average) with some appearances being less than 10 mins.

Do you think he'll stay with Roma or find his place there?

Hopefully he gets more first team action after preseason.
He only started 5 games and got 2 goals out of it. Plus the first game he played he was knackered after the AFCON and starrting him was stupid. The rest of games don't count for much... 20 minutes isn't enough time to assess a player.

How a player of the quality of Andre Ayew was brought only by a good club like Swansea, not by a top one. I really can
    't understand this.

He's could make his debut for Newcastle tonight vs Everton. I rexckon he could be very good in the PL (even if Newcastle is pretty mediocre)

He was an available substitute who didn't play. Everton won 3:0.

Yep, just heard he got cleared to play yesterday and thought he'd make his debut but I guess it was a bit too soon.
