I will not review whole third match and leave it with my HT remarks. I respect both Nadeshiko Japan and myself too much.
I guess Asako Furuta was the only one to start every game at this U-20 Asian Championship (although I am not sure, since I missed the semifinal ). I guess she's been seldom subbed-out also. Is she a so key-player to this team? If yes, she anyway does that almost secretely...
I thought the AFC would have made a better effort to give the nod to an Australian or to someone from the Middle East instead.
We can't seem to maintain possession. Koreans' pressing and physicality force us to passes that are too much powerful or too much fast and not enough accurate: the result is we lose the ball very easily and it takes a lot of time to get it back again.
We anyway survived the half-hour without conceding a goal yet: despite their dominance, can it be a good sign?
Yes, Koreans are trying a surprising number of long balls to get behind the Japanese midfield defence.
In previous games there has been a lot more movement off the ball giving more passing options for Nadeshiko..c'mon move
AFC U20 WAC...Final H.T...JPN 0-0 PRK Pretty rubbishy game..but hey we're still in with a chance of winning 1-0
