I agree, that was the main reason why I had asked if the late predictions were possible: I had misunderstood your answer, but now it's clear and it seems totally fair to me.

It only influences the probability of the answer "nobody". For question 12 it's an advantage to know that "nobody" is a wrong answer but for question 13 and 14 the knowledge that no player scored more than 1 goal in the 2 finished matches only rises the probability of the answer "nobody". So blissett has no advantage if his answer for question 13 and 14 is not "nobody". But Spoiler (Move your mouse to the spoiler area to reveal the content) Show Spoiler Hide Spoiler because blissett is my biggest rival of course I accept your decision.
Although Spoiler (Move your mouse to the spoiler area to reveal the content) Show Spoiler Hide Spoiler Lohmann is my biggest rival , I have to acknowledge that @unepommekun is right that the set of players I have to choose my scorers from is reduced after 2 games have already been played: I could have wished to pick INAC's Riko Yoshida or Albirex's Nahomi Kawasumi, for instance; now I have "just" 8 teams to chose from, instead of 12, and this would be an unfair advantage. So I totally agree with @unepommekun's decision (of course, I would have accepted it without questions even if I hadn't agreed, but I agree wholeheartedly with it instead)
I had forgotten to answer to this post: in fact, this newly promoted team has an impressive roster! I always loved Yoko Tanaka and I feel she didn't actually have a career that was up to her real potential. She had the bad luck of growing in an era where there was a lot of competition from already established player in her role in Nadeshiko Japan NT. Then she wasn't lucky with injuries either nor with the clubs she chose to play with. She could have had a different, more glorious story, but she remain a special player in my eyes and I'll always remember her Silver-Shoe's worthy performance at the U-20 WWC 2012, at home, in Japan, that looked so promising but ended up probably being the peak of her career instead. When I think about Naoko Wada, I can't forget how she was the favourite one of an old-timer of this thread, And G, who would be happy to see her in action again. I seem to remember that she had scored directly from Corner-Kick in a game, or maybe even in more than one!
That generation might've been unlucky. They were spotlighted beyond their real strength as a Young Nadeshiko after Nadeshiko Japan had become the world champion. The most succesful member may be Tanaka Mina who had been somewhat a mediocre player in those days. The other ones are Naomoto, Yokoyama, Kawashima and Shibata who are still playing as important players for their respective clubs.
This is turning into a attack/defence training session Edit..hundred cameras behind PHI goal probably none at the other end Edit...commentary.."cleared into the hills again by PHI"
Sounds to me this is a match where Ueki would shine with her aerial ability. No one else can contest the ball any better in the air if we need to.
Scrappy as scrappy as scrappy of a goal one can ask. Mina Tanaka will claim that one. 1-0 edit: Koga! Powerful free header from point blank. 2-0
AFC Womens Asian Cup H.T....JPN 2-0 PHI The goalmouth scramble to end all goalmouth scrambles and a nice debut goal...it's not pretty stuff but if the whole of the opposition is in the penalty area it's not going to be
Yep. For the way the Philippines parked the bus for most of the first half, I hope our girls will demolish them in the second half as they will have to open things up. Bagging 3 or 4 more goals should teach today's opponents a lesson and put up a statement for the game against South Korea.
Filipinas didn't even park the bus in front of goal, they parked it INSIDE the goal! Tanaka's first goal in competition? My eternal bet for scorer of the match, happy for her and myself.
KOR is going to be a 'proper' game...I hope we are not in for a rude awakening after all our 'practice' games Edit..I.e we don't know how good or otherwise our defence is as we haven't defended anything worth mentioning
Such inability to finish chances will not forgive against tougher opposition. Gotta bury those chances. edit: as I wrote this, Chiba scores to make it 3-0.
JPN 3-0 PHI I am so so happy for Remina JPN 4-0 PHI Commentary.."that's a lovely goal from Matsukubo"....agreed
