Japan 1-5 PRK, FT. The difference between the two teams was clear to see on the pitch. Although our Youth NT always heavily rotate their players during tournaments, my impression is that in this particular case the coach was more confused than usual about the actual best 11 (or deliberately didn't want to define one). The end result was that the team lacked cohesion more than we were used to see for a Nadeshiko Japan Youth Team.

the 0-1 prediction at HT was gold for @Lohmann because I don't think anyone else made many points (I doubt anyone had predicted Yumi Hayashi as a scorer, let alone Japan's first, and only, scorer ). Edit: oh, I had forgotten that I had predicted 1 goal for Japan, although to 0, not to 5!

Forgetting last bet and winning by +100 points is humiliating. Why are we even playing? by Korea and Une
I actually quite enjoyed this match. It was open and played at a pretty fast pace. It is just a shame Little Nadeshiko did not play better. I think we have to tip our cap to Yu Jong-Hyang who was brilliant. She was very clinical in front of goal, but I think Little Nadeshiko's defence gave her far too much space. Thinking about this game I feel as if Shirai did not have much of an interest in winning tonight. Not starting Sumiya and Higuchi seemed like a strange decision. It would have made more sense if Little Nadeshiko had sat really deep and just defended, but they did not do that. Anyway, he brought on Sumiya and Higuchi and Little Nadeshiko looked a lot better, despite conceding the third goal. Sumiya was getting a lot of the ball and putting North Korea under more pressure. But he then made two more changes and moved Sumiya to the left where she does not see the ball for fifteen minutes. I know he has to try something, but why move her to the left? North Korea are a good team and I feel they exposed Little Ndeshiko's defence on numerous occasions. I thought they were poor against South Korea and I am starting to wonder if any of them actually play in defence. Having said that, in part it is not their fault. The two centre-halfs are not fast so playing a high-line is only going to leave them exposed against faster opposition. The only other thing I noticed was the space between defence and the holding midfielder with or without the ball. Basically if the number 6 turns the ball over there is nobody there to help her. Having said all that, there were passages of play where the midfield played some nice football. It is not all doom and gloom, but there is a lot to work on. I am genuinely curious to see how they go in the World Cup because that defence looks really susceptible to any team with a fast forward. Of course the Little Nadeshiko midfield will probably not be put under so much pressure the way they were in the quarter-final and tonight, so they are less likely to give the ball away. Poor South Korea.
Sc Sand - VFB Stuttgart = 2:2 Warbeyen - Fsv Mainz = 0:5 So Sand not promoted eventhough they were like for most of the season in the 2 first place until last week Isn't it 2 promotions in a row for Mainz and Stuttgart ?

I'm not too sure about that. I don't doubt her abilities but she has only scored these 2 goals for JFA this season. The 4 games she was away with the U20s JFA had their best spell....5 of their 6 points and 5 of their 9 goals came in these 4 games so maybe they play better without her?
2 promotions for Mainz and 3 for Stuttgart. Mainz won their last 9 matches and catched up a 7 points deficit. Mamiko Matsumoto, Akari Kurishima, Yurina Imai and Suguri Hashitani all played full match today.
