The WE League fan's best 11 and MVP: GK: Tanaka Momoko DF: Sugisawa, Ohga, Norimatsu, Mizuno MF: Shinjo, Shiokoshi, Esaki FW: Aikawa, Yoshida, Sasai MVP: Shiokoshi
There are players (Mami Ueno, Mei Shimada, Moka Hiwatari) who are going to disappoint many of us, if they won't score in this week-end!
Jeglertz also provided an update on the condition of Sydney Lohmann, who missed our victory against Brighton through injury. And Jeglertz confirmed the nature of the Germany international’s issue in his post-match press conference. He said: “She has a small feeling in her leg, so wasn’t available for the game.”
WE League 1 - Hayama (Regina), Yamamoto (Beleza), Takikawa (Albi), Ito (Urawa), Saito (Omiya) 2 - Ogawa (Jef) 3 - Yoshida (Inac) Nadeshiko 1 1 - Kamiya (Iga), Matano (Ehime), Miwa (Shizuoka), Tamada (Speranza), Uchida (Setagaya) 2 - Yokoyama (Shizuoka) 3 - Kawasaki (Harima) 4 - Setagaya
Maika Hamano has only one deficiency - she has no internal 'stop' button. She needs a responsible and observant coach to take her off the field before she passes out from exhaustion. I don't think I've ever seen her leaning on her knees or standing still for more than two seconds during a football match - doesn't matter 90th or 120th minute. Ultimate warrior.

Manaka Matsukubo played 92 minutes and scored, Shinomi Koyama - entire match for NC against LA of Miyabi Moriya who played second half and asisted a goal and Jun Endo (on the pitch since 67').
Today's result (1) Nadeshiko League Iga (Watanabe Rin 2, Kamiya) 3-3 Viama (Fukumaru, Sakamoto, Arima) Sakamoto Riho - I heard her name after a long time. Nippatsu (Oka) 1-1 Setagaya (Horie) Shizuoka (Yokoyama 2, Tsuchiya) 3-1 Ehime (Hiratsuka) Belle (Komatsu, Minamiyama) 2-2 Orca (Asano, Davis)
Riho Sakamoto wasn't in Via's roster previously: had she maybe retired and then came back from retirement? Or does she come from another team? With today's goals, Mistuki Horie and Kumi Yokoyama now share the top of Nadeshiko League Division 1's scorers-rankings with 13 goals each. Third time this season that both Shizuoka's star-strikers, Kumi Yokoyama and Yuzuki Tsuchiya, score in the same game: we previosuly had a game with one goal each, a game with a brace by Tsuchiya and a single goal by Yokoyama, now we have one with a brace by Yokoyama and a signle goal by Tsuchiya. Chiaki Minamiyama! That's another name from the goold old times! Meanwhile, 5th gol in the season for Alma Davis: not usual to have a foreign player (a Swedish one, in this case) score so much in Nadeshiko League. Orca Kamogawa FC at their 10th draw out of 18 games (their wins/draws/losses record is a symmetrical 4-10-4).
Today's result (2) WE League Mynavi (Yakata) 1-1 Regina (Ueno) Nagano (Kikuchi) 1-1 Jef (Yamaguchi) Urawa (Ito 2, Goto 2, Shimada) 5-0 Chifure Ohmiya 0-0 Albi
I am sure Beleza won't disappoint me! Meanwhile, Mami Ueno and Mei Shimada made many people happy. But they of course won't create that separation the 100 points to just one of us would make.
Aemu Oyama's Olympic goal for Rosengard in match vs. AIK Aemu Oyama slår hörnan rakt i mål för @FCRosengard! 💥 pic.twitter.com/BxKhoruugt— Viaplay Fotboll (@ViaplayFotboll) September 14, 2025
As odd is it can seem for last season's 2nd-placed scorer (both in the league and in the whole seasonal club competitions), this is the first goal scored by Miyu Yakata in this season, at the 6th match-day. Of course, scoring for her new team, Mynavi Sendai Ladies, is more difficult for her.
Saki Kumagai played whole match for London against ManU of Hinata Miyazawa who played whole match as well. Judging from highlights Saki's defending is not brilliant atm..
Pretty dire game. Leicester were down to 10 players for a full 40 minutes, and Liverpool could not capitalise or even create many chances. Risa got some more playing time, which was great, but you could clearly see she was frustrated by the disorganised attack. Nagano largely invisible.
Rion Ishikawa played whole match (and had rather tough day at the office ), Yuka Momiki 72 minutes for Everton against Tottenham of Toko Koga who played whole 90+ minutes.
Painful to watch this one. Actually London City were not that bad, but had a dubious penalty called against them early on, and also an arguably offside goal (no VAR). I agree Saki was poor...
