While a good moment for her as a player, her team continues to struggle in this inaugural NSL season...
Nadeshiko League 1 H.T...Speranza 2-2 Ehime Two goals from the recently returned Ayumi Tanoue one in the first minute of the game and a second at 35 min after an equaliser from Sato at 9 min and a 'Mickey Mouse' PK at 45 min +9 min...Ehime have not really impressed... defence has been poorly organised as for whatever reason coach has decided to put Murakami in the middle of the line and has Miyu Mori on the right..it's not working imo...on a positive note Tanoue's goals were both well taken...Fuka Kono starts on the bench....why? Ehime's evergreen problem of not being able to comfortably play it out from the back as returned...frustrating to watch! (Perhaps coach could ask for a training session with Little Nadeshiko to teach them how to do it)
I've completely forgotten about today's games. Nadeshiko League Nagoya vs Nittaidai 13:00 Speranza vs Ehime 13:00 Setagaya vs Orca 14:00 Nippatsu vs Harima 15:00 Nadeshiko League 2 Ichihara vs Yamato 13:00 Kibi vs Bunnys 13:00
Nadeshiko League 1 F.T...Speranza 2-4 Ehime 3mins into the second half Matsuoka put Ehime 3-2 up after some very timid defending from the home side and she got her second goal at 82 mins from a PK....This was a must win game for Ehime FC Ladies and they won it so no complaints here....As for the quality of the football played it left a lot to be desired but you can't have it all....coaching decisions...Ehime go 4-2 up and coach brings Fuka Kono on for the last 5 mins...why bother....I'm sure Ehime followers are well pleased with a 4-2 away win but this viewer is finding it hard to enthuse about ( mainly because of the quality of the footie)

Not very interesting scores in Division 2, except maybe for Orca's win in Setagaya. Division 2 looks much more exciting today, despite having just two matches in the schedule! Second loss in the league for Kibi, and to Bunnys, who remain unbeaten instead ans catch up with them at the top of the league! Kibi are still ahead by goal difference, if it's the first tie-breaker in Division 2 also, but Bunnys are sure on the rise! Crazy game in Ichihara: Yamato had gone ahead with a lonely PK by veteran Haruka Hamada in the 1st Half; then, in the 2nd Half, VONDS suddenly scored 3 goals in just 8 minutes, between 51' and 59'. Just one minute later, Yamato Sylphid scored their second and in the end they managed to equalize at 77'.
Today's result: Nadeshiko League Viama (Terada, Ozawa) 2-1 Shizuoka (Aoba) Iga 0-1 Belle (Kakoi) Nadeshiko League 2 Shonan (Suzuki) 1-1 JFA (Fukushima) Izumo (Sumiotoku, Iwashita, Hara) 3-2 Imabari (Suto, Morise) Nankatsu 0-3 Fujizakura (Hosaka, Sasaki, Kokaji) DR Hiroshima (Hamada) 1-1 Mie (Hisanaga)
Narumi Miura played whole match and assisted a goal for Washington against NC of Manaka Matsukubo who played whole game as well and scored PHENOMENAL goal and Shinomi Koyama who was subbed in at 54th minute.
Dear Manaka, why don't you create magic like this on national team? * I watched it closely in slowmo - unlike commentators said there was no deflection, they're just not used to Japanese women's football technical maestry...
Vote here!— National Women’s Soccer League (@NWSL) June 9, 2025 The goal’s been nominated for what I’m guessing is goal of the week.
