Sure... but the lottery numbers still won't come up. Let us hope that today's Manchester derby and El Clásico in Spain will be more exciting.
Missed Omiya being eliminated, but nailed Chifure, as well as @unepommekun did. Well, ok, it was the most likely WE League's team to face that destiny, but, hey, 10 points are 10 points.
Empress' Cup - 2nd round day 2 Iga vs Otemon Uni (11:00) Shizuoka vs YGU (11:00) Albi vs Niigata Uni (11:00) JEF vs Harima (14:00) Urawa vs Setagaya (14:00) Empress' Cup - 2nd round day 3 - 19th Beleza vs Nippatsu (18:00)
Ami Kitazawa is more and more precious for Nittaidai! By the way, in the next round they will dodge WE League's teams, since they'll meet Diosa Izumo FC who unexpectedly eliminated RB Omiya Ardija Women, so it's not impossible to think that they could advance even further.

Empress' Cup - 2nd round day 2 results Iga (Hirata, Tsuneda M) 1-1 aet 2-1 Otemon Uni (Mishima) Shizuoka (Hikosaka, Yokoyama x2, Takeshima, og) 5-1 YGU (Ito) Albi (Kawamura, Sugita, Takikawa, Sonoda, Shirowa) 5-1 Niigata Uni (Adachi) Urawa (Fontes, Shimada Tanno x2) 4-1 Setagaya (Kashiwara) JEF (Yamaguchi) 1-3 Harima (Shono, Kawasaki, Inowaki)
Very sad news. My best wishes to Haruna Aikawa: she's going to turn 22 in December, so she has all the time to come back strong after that. I just learnt that Urawa have signed young Hawaian FW Sunshine Fontes since September. I didn't know that and I wonder if she had ever been given playing time before. So, in the end JEF is the third WE League's team that's been eliminated from the Empress' Cup, after Chifure and Omiya: @unepommekun's third point of the challenge definitely made sense and, with three eliminated teams, anyone of us could have had a perfect-record guess, although actually no-one did. I am happy for AS Harima Albion and for Sonoko Chiba. They will face JFA Academy Fukushima in the next round, so it's not an impossible task for them.
Seems the gap between 9 of the WE League teams and the Nadeshiko League teams is not really that great. So JEF, Chifure and Omiya all went out but it was quite close for others too. Cerezo. Without the Orca own goal Cerezo were out at 90 minutes. Regina. If not for a 120+2 penalty, a penalty shootout could have gone either way. Mynavi. An Ehime own goal. Nojima and Nagano a single goal separated these teams from their NL2 opponents. Now if Nippatsu, Iga and Shizuoka can all win their next games it would make the whole competition much more interesting.

There is a lack of Risa Shimizu in the English games.... Was she at least on the bench for Liverpool?
She was not. Appeared on the pitch right after the match walking around with the players, without any visible physical problems. Hamano was on the bench for Chelsea, unused third match in a row.
