U17 male WC Japan 2-0 Morocco Japan 0-0 New Caledonia Morocco 16-0 New Caledonia AWCL Beleza 4-0 Naegohyang Suwon 5-0 ISPE Beleza 1-0 ISPE Naegohyang 3-0 Suwan Is it only I who feel somewhat the same impression?
Not sure if you all can see these highlights, guys. Anyway, in Europa Cup, Eintracht Frankfurt came back from behind to win an away game vs PSV Eindhoven by 1-2 and the winner was scored by no other than Remina Chiba (despite the fact that, as usual, she wasn't a starter! ).
I cannot really speak for the men, but I imagine they played a weaker team against New Caledonia. But why do the better teams in the WE League struggle to break down organized teams that sit deep. The main reason in my opiniion is that they are just not used to playing against teams that do this. In the WE League most teams try and press higher up the pitch, so stronger teams do not have to break down teams quite so much. I also think that Beleza's manager is not that good, which was something I said back when he won the league with Urawa.
The game vs ISPE reminded me of the Nadeshiko vs Uzbekistan game a couple of years back. Do ISPE have any Japanese staff?
Japan performed very badly, while in the game against Morocco NC had two red cards. To be fair, Morocco was already up a few goals by then
Still immature, not a regular starter in Jef, but often shows strong impact in limitted playing time. Huge potential.
My game of this weekend: 1 Japanese scorers playing abroad (the top league of England, Germany, USA, Holland, Sweden)(3, 20pts, perfect 3, 100pts, nobody 200 pts) 2 WE League scorers in Empress's Cup and Beleza in AWCL (5, 20pts, perfect 5, 200pts, nobody, 300pts) 3 WE teams which disappear from Empress's Cup (3, points are as written bellow, none 50pts) Inac (110), Urawa (100), Mynavi (90), Albi (80), Regina (70), Ohmiya (60), Cerezo (50), Jef (40), Nojima (30), Nagano (20), Chifure (10)
Empress' Cup - 2nd round day 1 32 teams remain WE L = 12 NL1 = 10 NL2 = 6 Uni = 4 There's a slim chance we'll get highlights of this round, JFAtv YouTube had highlights for the mens Emperors Cup starting with the 2nd round. Morning Chifure vs JFA (10:30) Viama vs Nittaidai (11:00) Inac vs Nihon Uni (11:00) Regina vs Ichihara (11:00) Nagano vs Bunnys (11:00) Afternoon Nojima vs Fujizakura (13:30) Omiya vs Izumo (14:00) Mynavi vs Ehime (14:00) Cerezo vs Orca (14:00) Nagoya vs OSA (14:00) There was a reply to one of the JFA posts on Twitter/X asking why they don't play each game at one of the teams home stadium to boost attendance. They had a good point. Last week Setagaya vs Menina was played in Sendai with a free attendance of 214. If these two Tokyo teams had played at the Olympic Park stadium they might have had 2,000-4,000 paying attendance.

I don't know whether she can play or not in the next match, but recently she didn't play due to poor health.
Oh, ok. I could risk keeping her in my prediction anyway but then, with your permission, I am going to replace her with Yuzuho Shiokoshi. There is an initial "Yuzu-" in common and Shiokoshi showed that she likes to score in Champions' League.
You are being quite stingy with the points there buddy . Even at 300 bazillion points there's very little chance to see all 12 WE league teams fail to score 1 goal between them in 12 games against lower tier teams.

They look like they would rather be out shopping (Edit...I don't mean to imply shopping is a female only pastime...)
