LOS ANGELES (Feb. 6, 2026) – The LA Galaxy announced today that the club has acquired a 2026 International Roster Slot from San Jose Earthquakes in exchange for $225,000 in 2026 General Allocation Money (GAM). As part of the agreement, the international roster slot will return to San Jose at the opening of the Secondary Transfer Window (July 13).

Looks like more GAM on the way , no clue what we are doing .

LAFC has already announced signing this guy. I don’t know if he’s any good.

Seems like our MO this offseason is to be nice to players and other teams and just more of less let them have what they want. ‘Cause we’re doin’ addition by subtraction, mofo’s! :)

Trading international slots for GAM peanuts isn’t about money anymore……. It’s about sending a message……. Everything burns …….joker.jpg

Where are our 1-2 signings that Bruce talked about? Getting very close to the start of the season...

He said that he *hoped* to add 1 or 2 more players, which means it could be anywhere from 0 to 2.

    Fire sale.

I don’t see how this helps RottenFish. He wants to sell (whatever fraction of the team) for top dollar, so wrecking the value of the team doesn’t help him. This strategy doesn’t make sense to me, but it does mean that we’re going to have a terrible season, and be hamstrung for seasons to come.

    Go Quakesfans!!

I think we can expect 1 or 2 GAM for player trades for MLS vets. Someone like Julian Gressel.

That doesn't move the needle, unless we sign four of them. AND we're not getting enough GAM to make that a viable strategy in our trades. We're just making one mistake after another. I cannot imagine what they are thinking.

Yo Bruce!! Why do we suck?!

Interesting. Either it is a short term Loan player LA is getting, or they are confident they can get the player a green card before the roster slot expiers.

Two chairs - a pair of signings? Or new new chairs? Or "Epicenter upgrade" partnership with Habbas Law?

We’re going to need some acid to go with that tie-dye.

Yeah, I did not know this before today but apparently the lightning bolt is part of Grateful Dead iconography.
