Yui Hasegawa and Ayaka Yamashita played whole match, Aoba Fujino was subbed in at 70th minute for ManCity against Westham of Riko Ueki who played whole match.
Saori Takarada played first half, Yuka Momiki was subbed in at 56th minut for Leicester against Crystal Palace.
Yes, I now finally found the time to watch the highlights and it seems like everything decent Red Angels achieved passed through her feet. They were also quite unlucky with woodwork and other chances. Yoko anyway would deserve a better team.
And also a lot of clumsiness. Btw the free kick given to Abu Dhabi that led to their 2nd goal was a strange call. Yoko did the foul at the 54th minute of the game.
I don't think they are underrated. Announcers and commentators always praise them in Beleza games. As for Yamamoto, I've never heard negative comments against her. As for Kinoshita, when she was subbed out at half time once, the commentator said that it would have been the coach's tactical choice about team's defense. It was only one case. I think they would be in the large lists of Ikeda, but of course you know well, the number of NT members is limited. Possibly, Sasaki or the new coach might select them, but I don't know at all. If you think why not they are at least in the member, it's quite understandable. Many team fans have the similar feelings, for example, Ogawa Ai and Ueno in Regina, Ohsawa and Kamogawa in Jef, or even Shiokoshi and Endo in Urawa, and Wakisaka and Yakata in Cerezo. But if you think they should be the absolute regular starters in NT, I dare say you overrate them.
Right now I would take Wakisaka over Hayashi. If Hayashi is the lowest bench mark for Nadeshiko then Wakisaka is as good as her and I would say better. And I am not hating on Hayashi, because I actually like her and see her value. I just think they have to look at a few different combinations of midfielders over this World Cup cycle, because I am becoming less and less convinced by Hasegawa and Nagano against good opposition. Especially Nagano. I think people forget that Kinoshita is only 21. She is a much better player now than when she was playing for Nadeshiko at 18. I kind of find it astonishing she was never a part of Ikeda's plans. I am not sure what he thought Hayashi or even Nagano had over Kinoshita. The other players you mentioned are probably just not quite good enough. But they are all very good players.

Moeka Minami and Saki Kumagai both started and played the full game in the opening match of UEFA Champions' League's Group A. Roma scored early with a PK that was converted by Manuela Giugliano and managed to keep the lead until the end. Excellent start for our Japanese players in the top European competition. Highlights:
AFC Womens Champions League...on AFC You Tube Taichung Blue Whales v Reds..ko delayed...rain..standing water on pitch (Whales should feel at home with all the water) Edit...8 mins.. not good advert for AFC Champions League playing on waterlogged pitch ..just unfortuneate with weather...shame
Quick search on google about monsoon time and range in Vietnam.. "There's no wrong time to visit Vietnam. The country has a tropical monsoon climate, with the south or southwest monsoon dominating from May to September and the northeast monsoon from October to April"
Just hope there's no injuries due to playing conditions...anyhoo Regina kicking off in a few mins must watch Oops?..correction not kicking off for an hour...Mynavi v Albi about to start
This match for sure shouldn't be played in this conditions - it's on refs, unfortunatelly it also shows how week women's ref position in AFC really is. They are quick to please the organisers rather than to take responsibility themselves.
To put into perspective the conditions of the game and their consequences: 29.0% passing accuracy for Taichung Blue Whale. 45.5% passing accuracy for Urawa Red. Odisha in their 17-0 defeat had a slightly more accurate passing than Urawa today (47.4%). To think that a second match is taking place (or supposed to take place) in the same pitch later today...
I'm watching Bam Khatoon vs. Kaya Fc-Iloilo... and oh my the ref there is just awful. Kaya player with torn ACL or at least dislocated knee from an opponent tackle... which the ref didn't even consider a foul. Bam Khatoon player misses the ball and headbutts opponent in own PK box and the ref is like 'it was accidental, no PK - nothing happend'. WTH
And 2 bad and serious injuries. The way Hayama (Regina) and Ueda (Omiya) fell on the pitch must have been be painful.
