Paris FC vs. Manchester City - link (bit choppy at times but good quality) Yamashita, Fujino and Hasegawa in starting XI
Cheers for the link U20 WWC semis viewing schedule USA v PRK....2230 local time NED v JAP...0200 local time Gonna be a real challenge being awake edit...Not sure about Citys new shirts
HT Paris 0-2 Manchester Aoba had a couple of chances - a long range effort tipped over the bar, and a 1-on-1 with the keeper which she really should have scored. Yamashita not really tested. She does have a tendency to wander forward, one time practically dribbling to midfield..! Bit worrying that.
FT Paris 0-5 Manchester Not much to say, as Man City so clearly the better side. Fujino played well (came off at 75’ I think); Yamashita made an excellent save at one point and generally bossed the game from the back; Yui improved as the game went on. Real test on Sunday against Arsenal.
Oh, one other Champions' League note: Hikaru Kitagawa played the last 30 minutes in BK Häcken's 1:0 win over Arsenal in Gothenburg. (Didn't watch the match, but it's on YouTube somewhere..)
https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...unny-shaw-visa-paris-champions-league3%81%a6/ The draw was 9 days ago and delays to get the visa were too long?!? Sounds like a lame excuse to me. Last Champions' League note: Miyagawa played 65 min. with Hammarby in a 1:2 defeat against Benfica.
Honestly, the US team have been really poor. Germany would have given that lot a much stronger opposition.
I tried to find the games on the Fifa webpage but it does not appear that they stream them. Where do you find a stream.
It looks like it is locked on your end because Fox Sports is the official broadcaster for US viewers. I got into the same problem in Canada because RDS/TSN are in charge of the broadcasting.
There may be a connection, but it is hard to know. Hopefully there will be continued research in this area. I will say that Nittaidai, which as a university has played in the Nadeshiko League for years has always had a high number of ACL injuries and again most of their players have been university age. Another thought is that maybe Japanese players over train, which would lead to more injuries. I do not know enough about club training schedules, but one of my friends, who is Canadian, played volleyball in the first division volleyball league here in Japan. She had played all over the world professionally, but was shocked by how hard the training was in Japan. She said she improved, but felt the team was over training. I do not know if it correlates because football has always had a much more chill vibe compared to volleyball and baseball and that chill vibe is part of the reason why football has become popular in Japan.
Same as previous matches. Everything is working great except accuracy in the final moment. Hopefully it will come sooner that extra-time.
U20 WWC 2nd semi H.T....NED 0-0 JAP It's just matter of time if it continues like this! (Please please..no extra time)
Looks like tiredness finally caught up with Nadeshiko. Decision making is much slower than in game against Spain so goes passing and ball control is bit worse... The Dutch obviously aim to steal the game with one set piece, intercepted wayward pass or thru ref incompetence... By the way its a youth tourney - teams should aim to develop their players here, unfortunatelly its rather clear that Oranje coach sacrificed learning curve in order to crawl into final ... time wasting since 10th min of the match, really???
