Although it's just the first match-day, Beleza in the last position (by goal difference + 0 goals scored) is quite impressive!
I want to like Cerezo, because they have a lot of young players, but they make it tough. Tonight at the start of extra-time while winning by TWO GOALS they decided to take a short corner and defend the ball at the corner flag! They were two goals up! Unbelievable. Anyway, these two teams match up pretty well against each other, so their matches are usually fun to watch and tonight's game was no different. It was pretty even with Nojima being the better team in the first-half despite conceding first. Luck and confidence play an important role in a team's fortunes and you could see the difference in play from Cerezo once they got the first goal, which came from an unlucky/lucky deflection. In the second-half Cerezo were the better team and deserved to get the win, but Nojima need to take their chances better. Nojima are not two goals weaker than Cerezo, but they just do not have a dangerous striker, so they do not worry defences, even Cerezo's. Nojima's new coach Ogasahara made an unnecessary change at half-time, which made the team worse in the second half. I understand conceding a goal is not ideal, but the starting eleven were playing well. Give them a chance to turn it around. Nojima's bench is not the best so once he pulled Sakakibara and Kawashima, who were both excellent today, it was pretty much game over. Wakisaka is still good.
U20 WWC...1st Quarter final H.T....BRA 0-0 PRK Commentary....."PRK goalkeeper... spectator in this first half"
Urawa is strong as usual even without Seike. Their intense and ceaseless pressure could stifle every team.
I was going to say before the game that I genuinely believe that Young Nadeshiko can win this game against Spain. So far they look the much better team, but they still have to score to win.
I feel the same. This Spanish team don't look as crisp and excellent as previous versions (although to be fair neither does present Young Nadeshiko).
I’ve noticed throughout this tournament, when our forwards are through on goal and they could just sprint on to create a 1 on 1 scenario with the keeper, they instead seem to just stop and look for a pass. It’s happened quite a lot of times and I wonder why. It’s not like these players aren’t fast runners.
Nadeshiko played all their matches in Bogota at 2600m over sea level... Now when they came down to Medellin at 1500m it looks like some heavy weight was taken out from their legs. Spain's just opposite as they played all their games in Cali at 1000m. This +500m of elevation isn't workin for them all that good
At the moment Young Nadeshiko look the much better team, but as we know goals matter. I can see Young Nadeshiko being the better team, but not scoring. I hope Young Nadeshiko can get a goal. Spain are playing very compact, so I imagine at some point he will bring on Sasai just because she runs in weird lines and tends to play wider. Young nadeshiko will have to play a bit wider in the second half just to keep Spain on their toes. He also might switch Matsunaga to the left because right now every time she gets the ball she is cutting in which is fine but Spain are very compact. Matsukubo has been good today, but I just wish she would make better decisions in the penalty box. But she looks up for it today.

Camara on the right has been good for Spain. I wish Young Nadeshiko would test the left-back a bit more.
Looks like Young Nadeshiko are starting to tire, good move by Yoneda to lie down for a few seconds in order to buy some time of rest for the team. btw Colombia is out and the Dutch are waiting in the semis
