Not the best game they've played but enough to beat a poor Nagoya performance, possibly the 32.9℃ temperature. A nice goal for Masano Runa at 67 minutes, not long after coming on at 65 minutes. 6 consecutive wins now for Iga and I hope they keep that going.

They startsed slowly last season as well, so I am not ready to write them off just yet. They have added the two Spanish players in Suarez (forward), Soldevila (midfield) and the Korean Lee who is another midfielder. It might take a while for them all to gel, but right now they do look a little weak going forward. Elfen played well. When they have Sonoda and Yoshida in the team they keep defences honest. If they can get Seno back they could surprise a bit this season. It all depends on whether they can keep their best eleven healthy, because they just do not have much depth in their squad at the moment.
I know it highlights, but some of Portland's defensive positioning was terrible. The right-back Payne seemed so high up the pitch.
I wonder if, in the post-Ikeda era, Sugita will be considered again for a place in National Team's roster.
Nadeshiko League 1 F.T....Harima 0-1 Viama From my limited time watching them the more apparent it seems that Viama are a bit of a "one trick pony" side....long balls into the box....think the reasoning behind it is the more time the ball spends in the opposition box the more chance it has of ending up in the net. (Just an observation not a criticism...fact is they are top and seem likely to end up top)
Today's result (1): Nadeshiko League Bunnys 0-14 Shizuoka (Tsuchiya 7, Ohsone 2, Miwa, Nakajima 3, Yamamoto) Nittaidai (Shinoda, Kitazawa, Okamoto, Honda) 4-1 Speranza (Ohta) Sfida (Shinbori 2) 2-2 Nippatsu (Gonno, Kosuda) Harima 0-1 Viama (Saito)
What the....? There's not even a name for that or for a player scoring 7 goals in a single game. Did Bunnys deploy an underage youth team or what?
Things like that may help her a lot... 1832478213173604545 is not a valid tweet id Matsukubo and Tanaka need to keep up...
I watched the game in fast forward and at times Bunnys did not look that bad, but given their defence is not the fastest it would probably have been wiser not to play such a ridiculously high-line. It was just too easy for Shizuoka. The players for Bunnys definitely tried but morale must be so low given the way things started this season and how even more players left during the summer. I am not sure what they can do other than park the bus. They should not play football, just park the bus. I am not sure Bunnys will exist next season, but if they lose another game by ten or more goals I thinkt they would be better off forfeiting the season. I think a forfeit is a 3 goal loss right? I really do not want to see teams get beaten like this.
