Well, I can't watch the game due to work but I'll enter here from time to time to read your coments. Good luck for both teams, you know I can't root for only one of them today
I suspect Spain will win this pretty easily. I am not sure about starting Seike and Fujino. Seike in particular does not really defend or counter press. I think Kitagawa is no the bench.
What was impressing was how easily we have cut through Spain's defense, the same way we used to do one year ago!
Aitana is Aitana, but here she stopped a promising Japanese action through a professional foul and she should have been carded!
Fujino scores a very nice goal. It looks like I know nothing about which players should or should not start.
That lineswoman is a drunk. The ball was out by a mile and yet the play was allowed to continue for a while, leading to big Spanish chances.
What a goal!!! Aoba had already anticipated in the last friendly game that she was going to become an impressive (Miyama-like? ) FK taker. Of course, Coll had the wall-placement wrong, leaving space to Fujino to frame the ball, but the FK was very well taken, including Hasegawa's effective dummy. The referee is anyway worrying: on the fould leading to the PK-goal she had shown the Yellow Card to the wrong player (Laia Alexandri instead of Patri Guijarro). She had to be corrected by the VAR room: quite embarassing at this level!
yeah pundits here at Eurosport were hard to listen to... talking about Japan like they should feel happy for even be on the same field as Spain ... ugh
