I agree. Even if it's a sweetheart TAM deal. It's time for the FO to wow us with a DP signing that would be an upgrade on Costa. But for now we need him a lot.
I don't know if it's true that Calegari has been placed on the season-ending injured list, but I'm also not sure what the point of it is. My understanding is that we can no longer sign a replacement player to fill Calegari's open roster spot since the roster freeze of Sept. 15 has passed. https://x.com/MLSAces/status/1704142685651513656?s=20
Neal underwent sports hernia surgery. I assume he's out for the remainder of the season too. https://x.com/LAGalaxy/status/1704254127600197684?s=20
There’s usually around a 6 week recovery time on a that. I’ve had it done myself. It’s possible he could become available if we make and then advance in the playoffs.
Unless they made a move before then or brought a guy from G2 up to fill his roster spot that just wasn’t announced yet, which would be odd given it’s not the 19th.
(1) Jorge Orellana on X: " #MLS https://t.co/XaP1r1S7su" / X (twitter.com) (is there a trick to embedding tweets now? I can't seem to use the little button anymore.) Anyway, I want this goalie on my team next year. I don't care what it costs.
Next year needs: We need a quality South American #9 and a solid +10 veteran MLS goal scorer to partner with him. Lastly, a Pavón type winger would be the cherry on top.
Bond is serviceable but an upgrade in goal would also help. Also would like an attacking left side wingback.
Yeah that guy is good and crazy. But I'd take him. Gignac was seen making a thrusting motion with his fists and hips near the LAFC bench signifying they put the Goats over a barrel. Zero respect. He pulled his shenanigans at the League's Cup also. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/bpzn-Zhw1gg
