What the hell ? Sorry didn't get the whole thing. Who was upload those videos about Yamane and the club was teasing him with that ?
Yeah, they had a behind-the-scenes video with locker room footage and the JFA social media folks posted it to YouTube before realizing that it featured a full frontal nude shot of poor Miki lol. Some weeks later Frontale was on an ACL road trip and their socials posted a video of the team walking to training from the bus, along with a wink-wink caption to the effect of "don't worry Miki, we can't see anything."
If anyone knows a good stream online for the game, please let me know. It can be in Japanese of course even if I'll barely understand anything.
Standing ovation for Yoshida who goes off after 10 minutes, very sweet. I'm watching on bet365 website which is showing a livestream
He had a good solid career. Despite his big errors here and there he was a huge character and sportsman, a leader. He gave JNT so much. Do you guys remember his crazy ball clearance challenge against Spain 2022 ? Close before the end, it's was very dangerous and he cleared the ball so spectacular with such a crazy ankle. He also managed to be a starter in the Eredevise, Premiere League, Serie A, Bundesliga and also won the championship in the MLS. If often criticized him but I really like him. Thanks for all Yoshida !
I remember his great clearance in front of goal after a save from Gonda, I don't know if that's what you're refering to.
Typical friendly, injuries were avoided and I believe all subs were used including the goalkeeper Tomoki Hayakawa. To me, Nakamura was the best player especially in the first half. Credit to Iceland who had good chances too, this game could have easily had more goals.
How was your expression of Endo, Tomiyasu and Itakura ? Are they match fit ? Or do you think they will be more in the super sub/talisman role ?
Are you asking me? I thought Endo and Tomiyasu looked match fit, Itakura not so much. I'm fine with Endo not starting but I think at least Tomiyasu should be in the starting 11 if he is fit.
Yeah but I also ask the others if they watched the game . That was also my Idea. That Tomiyasu maybe is the only one of those 3 to start if he is fit. A backline out of Ito, Watanabe and Tomiyasu looks insane in my eyes. But of course Tomiyasu at least needs to in a solid form.
I can't trust Tomiyasu. This is just a meaningless friendly vs a "tepid" opponent. We can't afford any brain fart from him like the one he did in WC22. Certainly not vs the dutchs. Maybe play as a sub in the first match and then start if fit in the second. I have a feeling that this time our defence will be not at level and with Ueda and Maeda upfront we must score as much as possible. I'm starting to be nervous about this match. 2 weeks apart. Damn it.
I watched Norway-Sweden . It could seriously been 7-1 to Norway. And this is without Haaland and Odegaard.
Sweden rode their luck heavily in the playoffs, they shouldn't have even qualified given their results overall.
