Officially Netherlands didn't release their final squad. They said in 27th they release it. So this is only a prediction. And yes, Simons is out.
Japan had training with some of the players in Tokyo. They look in good spirits and sharp with their passing. I noticed that they have a great set up of coaching personnel who have experience with Japan from different generations. Assistant coaches include Hiroshi Nanami, Makoto Hasebe, Ryoichi Maeda and now Shunsuke Nakamura. Maya Yoshida is in this training camp as well. In terms of the players Nagatomo has the most experience but I count 9 players who are below 30 and have already experienced a World cup. Apart from that most of the players are well established in Europe so that in itself is good experience.
Yoshida and Nagatomo first in the training and fit as feck. They seems terminators. I woudl call Yoshida as a locker support. And even Shunsuke, why not, as a 5th sub for a injury time freekick. Hasebe. I can't wait to see him be a complete coach and lead the JNT as when he was on the pitch.
I read today that Moriaysu said, when Yuito Suzuki is not fully fit till the Netherland game he will use the special rule to nominate another player instead of him. Hope they same goes for Endo and Tomiyasu. So there is a real chance to have 1-3 new players close before the tournament.
