Man, I forget that Teran is just 21. If his development continues at this pace we'll have sound depth and options for some time to come (once Wyatt recovers) at CB. Is this where the Next Pro setup starts paying dividends?
I think CB is the most important position to develop. You can always buy a big name striker or midfielder to play well and get butts in seats but the money you put into a CB can last 12+ years on the field.
Apparently he wouldn’t wear the pride warm up jersey before the pride match. If so, he’s the type of player we should avoid signing in the first place.
It'd be interesting to see if somebody could ask Mueller about it- do we have any media anymore? I took a look at a pic I took from warmups and while I wasn't snapping a pic of the players (just a view of the field from my seats) I notice a player wearing bright orange cleats that does not appear to have the pride top. That could mean a lot of different things, I don't know. But there was the photo opp before the game holding the Proud to Play/Common Goal banner where he did make an appearance. Yes, it does just appear to be the starters, but, I'm not aware of any mandatory photos of the starters from both teams before a game. Could be that they were mandated, obviously, but again, it would be nice if there was something tangible saying he refused to wear one rather than just speculation because he wasn't wearing one. From there, if he did refuse, ******** him. Mueller was in the group photo on the far left. #cf97 pic.twitter.com/s2zY6r8Lbw— Trancendental Willy (@SkywayWilly) June 30, 2022
A one minute gander at his Twitter timeline shows him to be “god fearing”. I assume he’s anti-abortion as well.
Took a look and didn’t see anything is his bio, and wasn’t trying to scan his tl as it’s full (somehow still) of Hibs fans acting like complete wanks. That definitely makes it look like he “refused” but doesn’t confirm it. I mean, I’m sure he probably did but I guess this is what willful ignorance feels like.
The optimism is that we even had a Pride Night, tbh. At least Mueller didn't pull a Jaelene Hinkle and straight up refuse to play. There's some optimism.
I hope this was not true about pride night. Also, I'm not a fan of that term, "God-fearing." It's very old testament. Hopefully he's one of the Christians who actually follow Christ's example. Check this out from the congregational church in Batavia:
Not much good to talk about, except nostalgia. At least Major League Soccer Soccer . Com gives us some props. Best MLS team of all time! 2000 Chicago Fire. Can’t say I disagree. For my money that was the best MLS side I’ve seen. https://www.mlssoccer.com/news/best-xis-in-mls-history-where-does-bale-chiellini-vela-s-lafc-rank
Maybe my tin-foil hat conspiracy has finally moved along and they're gonna finally talk about how good the Fire was back in the old days.
I go to Fire games to talk to people. This is the only purpose the Fire serve for me. I think I saw @GHjelm twice, but he didn't notice me.
Last night was unfortunately huge. Columbus was just ahead of us and one we need to leapfrog to get in. What the ******** happened? EDIT: Sorry. I didn’t realize this was the optimism thread. The bottom of the table is still tight?
