A premier league player could easily donate 1 week salary, 60,000gbp (9,713,215jpy) to teams in this situation and not notice it gone. At the end of the day, a goal scored be a European league player is no different from a goal scored by a Nadeshiko player. The difference is the celebration after. Sorry I made a mistake, *1 player and 1 staff* tested positive for COVID. I was disappointed to see this too but, it's bound to happen to a lot of the teams competing in this tournament so I've decided to think about it positively. At least for us this is happening before the tournament.
A little comedy. Two Nagoya players tackling each other. They've managed to lift the ball 3-4 inches (9-12cm) from the ground. Love the Nagoya girls lots
Summer friendly match for Roma this morning vs Belgian side of Standard Liège. Roma won by 3-1 and Moeka Minami started the match; in the 2nd Half, though, she was replaced by Austrian international Carina Wenninger, that many see as the 1st choice CB starter alongside Elena Linari. We're going to see how things will develop. Meanwhile, Inter had a big market hit by signing Dutch International Stefanie Van der Gragt, most probably to pair her with Mana Mihashi as the starting CB duo.
Some help please. Morisako Ayame - Speranza. I noticed she had played for Okayama before Speranza. I checked back through the years of Speranza to see when she first played there. So she's been with Speranza 5 years now, since the 2018 lineup. - http://www.nadeshikoleague.jp/club/2018/konomiya/ - Always #22. I then checked 2017 and 2016 Okayama player list, not there. (though I did notice Hata Miyu, Iga and Moriya Kanna, Ange, in the 2016-2020 lists). The website doesn't go back further than 2016. Her birth year is 1996 which would make her around 21 when joining Speranza so she was missing since she was 19 or about. Did she take 2 years off for maternity leave? The reason I ask is.... Would this be Husband and daughter wearing her number and name? It's taken from Speranza vs Bunnys on 18th June.
Thanks unepommekun. That helped. I have now dug deeper. And - https://nadeshiko.finash.jp/ - has records from earlier years than - http://www.nadeshikoleague.jp/ So. Morisako Ayame. 2015-2016 Okayama 2017 ? 2018-2022 Speranza 2016. She was active for the league games March 27th - May 29th. She was on the bench for the cup games June 4th - July 30th. Then was absent from the league games records September 10th - October 23rd. Leaving before the season was complete is possibly the reason she was not shown in the 2016 Okayama player listing. So the year and a half away from the beautiful game. Either maternity leave to become a mother or was it the final year of university and wanted to dedicate her days to studying?
Some interesting friendlies being played before the tournament. When it comes to the teams that we will face in the group, the USA won against Spain 3-0 and the Netherlands played against the hosts and tied 2-2. So the US seems to be the main threat in the group although Spain also lost 0-2 against South Korea a week beforehand. I’m not sure how the reigning European champions can have such bad results all the sudden but they are just friendlies. Japan hasn’t played a single friendly so losing all 3 group stage matches may be a very realistic possibility and we just may not know it.
NWSL recap of last week-end's matches: - on Friday, the 5th of August: Portland Thorns-North Carolina Courage: 3-3. Hina Sugita played the full game for Portland, while Fuka Nagano, as in the previous match, wasn't even seen on the bench for the Courgae (I figure she didn't join the squad yet? Maybe her documents have not cleared her yet to play in the league? ); anyway, the Thorns are at 1st place in the league along with San Diego, while NCC keep their 12th and last place; - on Saturday, the 7th of August: Chicago Red Stars-NJ/NY Gotham FC 2-0. Yuki Nagasato played the full game for Chicago; in Gotham, Nahomi Kawasumi was subbed-in at 67', just after the 2nd goal, while Kumi Yokoyama wasn't even seen on the bench. 4th place for the Red Stars, while Gotham share the last-to-one place with Washington; - on Saturday, the 7th of August: Orlando Pride-Angel City FC 2-2. Jun Endo started and played all of the 90'. Angel City FC are at 7th place.
Damallsvenskan 2nd half of the season starts 12th this month. Momiki and Hayashi both scored in friendlies played by their clubs last weekend.

Yuka Hirano former FC Köln now in Nojima outfit. 1556933368767320064 is not a valid tweet id (did I miss that transfer?)
By the way, not sure way, from my view, a message on her Tweet states: "The following media includes potentially sensitive content". Is it because she looks pretty? Of quite young with that blonde hairstyle?
