Last month, Kibi had lost at home by 1-6 to Shizuoka (with Rena Miwa and Mari Koike also scoring, although back then it was the first, and not the second, having a brace), so they somehow got better. Had to be an hard-fought game: I know she's young, but I'd like to see Manaka Matsukobo play in higher categories. I see a Thais Amorim on the score-sheet for Diosa: a Brazilian, I suppose?
@pierre bezukhov About Actonians. I didn't bother going to their home game on Tuesday 22nd. I followed their Sunday 20th game away to Chesham UTD. Actonians twitter was covering their second team, reserves, and retweeting from the Chesham tweets. They won 4:0 but still haven't listed the goal scorers ( Ebine Chihiro was the only Japanese player there). It had rained all of Monday and looking at the satellite view on google, there's not a lot of dry standing area at the Rayners Lane pitch. They did win 15:0 but none of the Japanese girls were playing. The game ended early since the away team, Hounslow, didn't have enough players left on the pitch . Looking at their reserves player squad....Murayama Ai..... is listed, sounds Japanese to me, any ideas who she's played for in the past? Looks like she's only played 3 games for them, all in August. Might be a student studying here that wanted a game https://www.actonianslfc.com/teams/206942/player/ai-murayama-2939132
Not a surprise. I already know she is not an average Japanese FW. I always think she should shoot if she is within a shooting distance wherever there.
Good afternoon. If anyone can suggest possible links to online live streaming for Germany-Spain mens game tomorrow, I would appreciate it. Thank you.
I have no idea. It is pretty hard to find a player's history if we do not have their name in Japanese. It was a very good goal. It does make me wonder what she was doing throughout the Under 20 World Cup, because her finishing was poor to say the least. The finishing yesterday was actually pretty good from everybody. I especially liked the way Yumura and Yoshida took their goals.
FT Tokyo International Uni 0:4 Viama Next round (Saturday 3rd) Setagaya vs Viama. Big challenge for Viama.
I guess that the coach mostly gave her defensive roles instead of getting goals because Hamano and Yamamoto were main FWs in that competition. I was disappointed in that sense because I had known her ability.
Today's result: Empress's Cup first round Tokyo international Uni 0-4 Vi Amaterasu Tokiwagi 2-1 FC Imabari Ehime 2-0 Lily Wolf Ishikawa Fujieda Junshin (Tsujisawa 3) 3-0 Anclas Nittaidai 0-1 Fujizakura Orca 4-0 Daisho Gakuen high Bunnys 1-3 Waseda Uni
Ohhhh Bunnys . What is it with that team? 2022 they took 4 points from the 2 league games vs Setagaya. Got a win vs Cerezo towards the end of the season. Now they lose to a team, Waseda University, that finished 5th of 8, in the equivalent of 2 divisions below them (Kanto D1). Onwards and upwards for Waseda.
I don't know what happened in this particular circumstance, but what I do know is that Waseda University has always been one of the best university teams in Japan and that, historically, they have a renowned tradition in the Empress' Cup in particular: a few years ago, in 2017 if I remember well, they had even reached the quarter-finals by eliminating INAC Kobe Leonessa in the previous round!
Alright, can't wait for the Women's World Cup to start, after witnessing the Samurai Blue's embarrassing choke job.

Agree with you. I don't waste time with mens football. I used to stay up late or get up early for World Cup games in the past , pre 2006, watching every game possible live. Now I just put the google live scores and check that 2 or 3 times a day. I only get up early for Nadeshiko league games now, though I did hit the sack early last night with the alarm set for 1am so I could follow Fujizakura on twitter and Viama on the player thing they use, in the Empress's Cup.
Well, week or some ago I wouldn't buy that, but.. since then Saudi Arabia bested Argentina (no. 3), Japan beat Germany (no. 11) and Morocco won today with Belgum (no. 2) So, why not?
Again, thanks a lot for the link. It was very helpful as I’m in the middle of traveling now and I enjoyed watching the game.
