I cannot see Nadeshiko getting a goal tonight. I was hoping they could hang on for another draw.

 

Where the hell has she been? If she was touted as the next big thing, it should not be too much asked to have heard on board while the others can retire one by one from international duty.

Whoever was in front of Yamashita clearly didn't listen to her and just blocked her from the ball while lost that challenge to clear it as well... Even though, Yamashita should've stayed on her line...

Typical of Japanese defenders, both men and women alike, to not read the play well enough in the air. I've had my share of disgruntling moments with idiotic decisions in the air.

Enough said. Time to have someone who will kick butts on that team and find who has the bottle to perform like a proper member of a top national side.

 

And that is only the players fault.

 

Feels like the team was aiming for a draw in this game. They haven't had enough numbers forward for the entire time.

And although they're about to lose I'm actually not that angry. Seems like a realistic show of where the team is at currently.

 

She is not very good that is why she is not in the team.

 

Sorry to say, but there was no chance that Japan could draw the game.

Manager unfit to lead the team and players not fit to wear the shirt. I'm not expecting to be talkative about Nadeshiko Japan for a while after this mess.

 

The team moved forward, they played better but they still lost. I am actually pretty satisfied though maybe I shouldn't be. Don't really think it's a mess.

I think we forget that Japan couldn't qualify for the Rio olympics. Though players have changed since then, expecting them to go far 4(well 5) years later I think is a tall order.

 

Well, that was one of the most disappointing performances I've seen from a senior Nadeshiko side. Holy shit, for most parts of the game we were playing like Burnley. Hoof and inshallah.

 

On the plus side, no spectator actually had to pay for tickets to watch that.

 

In FIFA tournaments the first tie-breaker is goal difference while head to head is the tie-breaker in UEFA tournaments.
