Does anyone know if today's match vs Ukraine will be aired by the usual channel? Do we have any streaming link?
NT site says its live on Fuji TV.....I'm trying AQ Stream Fuji TV....Lechus will know for sure edit...JFA Nadeshiko Twitter also says live on Fuji TV also has starting line up
GK Yamashita DF Shimizu Kumagai Takarada Kitamura MF Shiokoshi Nakajima Miura Hasegawa FW Iwabuchi Sugasawa
It's on Fuji TV (JPN) and TUDN (US) I hope that this match gonna be recorded and posted some time later on. I'm staying at my folks atm with limitted options of doing it myself Link 1 Link 2 (can't say if deleyed and by how much to live brodcast)
It's interesting that Shiokoshi is playing, as a wing-Midfielder I guess. This probably means that Nakajima plays the holding midfielder alongside Miura instead of Hina Sugita? Also: Takakura decided Kitamura officially is "the new Sameshima"?
Your link two, https://aqstream.com/jp/fuji/Fuji-TV, seems to work to me (I was already connected to it). Let's hope we can enjoy the game.
Wow, how Ukraine didn't score here? The FW should have shot, instead of trying a cross to the center of the box! Our defense was caught unprepared.
The rainfall is starting! Iwabuchi smartly retrieved a ball ont the Left-side of Ukrainian box and crossed to the center where Shiokoshi had an easy "PK-like" chance that she converted. 1-0 Japan at 5' and it will be a long game for Ukraine, who, despite their previous chance, are obviously some levels below Japan. Was it Shiokoshi's first goal with Senior NT or had she scored before? I seem to remember she had a short stint with Senior Team in an old tournament, maybe an AFC-Asian Cup...
Two consecutive PKs for Ukraine, but no real danger. Unsurprisingly, the caption claims that Urkrainian player are, on average, 1,5 cms taller than Japanese ones.
Hasegawa and Iwabuchi already are a nightmare to Ukrainian defense, but our problem keeps being the finishing. Sugasawa didn't connect well with a wonderful Hasegawa's cross at 17': with a more clinical striker it should have been a goal and we won't get many different chances with top-teams; you have to convert the ones you get!
And our top-player, Iwabuchi, makes it 2-0 at 30', just before the water-break. She's not really a central striker, but she's the FW in our team who can slam a clear chance in when she gets it. Manadona desu-ne.
Menwhile it is 4-0 at 41': I smell some final score similar to Paraguay/Panama... Confused action in the box, I guess the last touch was by Shiokoshi? Brace for her?
This livestream is nearly as reliable as following the match on twitter (just a paused image for 2 minutes)
Thanks, I hope they're going to show some highlights at HT. Meanwhile 1st Half ended. This 4-0 will easily become another 7-0 in 2nd Half, although I guess Takakura will use the remaining minutes for some changes.
H.T.......Japan 4 Ukraine 0 Scoreline reflects the difference in the rankings but you can only play the team in front of you....A very watchable performance from Nadeshiko...Some of Mana Iwabuchi's passes have been absolutely sublime...Shame Takakura san has not utilised the new WE League version of Shimizu (attacker)....Good goals for all concerned.....Lets have some more. edit...(I'm curious...why didn't the team sing Kimigayo....Covid regulations?)
Watched the highlights right now: Takarada's volley from CK was indeed neat. Shiokoshi's 2nd goal most probably had a deflection from an Ukrainian DF, but not enough to make it an own-goal. Deserved brace for her: I guess it was her first?
Game resumes and streaming gets back to being junk! I managed to see there were two other changes for Ukraine: any change for Japan?
