Well, most probably the story is: "There isn't going to be women's club football in USA for the reminder of the year, so let's find some place where it is possible to actually play". Recently, many NWSL players considered or already made this kind of choice, including US Internationals as Sam Mewis, who signed for Manchester City a few days ago (it's your town, @Manchester Nadeshiko; although confined, are you aware of this move? ). Although she probably liked her stint in NWSL, I guess Momiki, after seeing her former Beleza's team-mates having an almost regular season (Nadeshiko League Cup is basically the only thing they're missing), regretted a little having left Japan in a so particular year, so she had to find another place where she can actually play.

Were you a player? I agree with you. My main issue is that sometimes there are some players playing well for lesser teams who perhaps don't get the same opportunities other players - in the bigger teams - get; that is all. I think it is well known that Beleza, INAC and Urawa get the pick of the young talent on offer from the academy and junior teams. Though Beleza seem to get first choice. Jun Endo is not from anywhere near Tokyo yet she ends up playing for Beleza. It might have been nice if she had gone to Mynavi. I agree with you. Tanaka almost certainly moved to INAC in order to play the younger players.
Saturday games are about to start on their channel ... Apparently the second one is an odd 17:30 kickoff? Is there any special reason for that like TV? I really appreciate the choice of the INAC player to present this game. Meanwhile, it started since 15' and we're still 0-0.
My memory was quite good: we normally don't have comment for these Nadeshiko League games: I do wonder if there is any logic behind the choice to comment a few of them of if it's just a question of availability of the announcer. Anyway, despite Anna Stambaugh wearing the #21 jersey and Rei Takenaka wearing #1, it seems to me that the former is consistently starting over the latter these days (by the way, I fully appreciate that).
Hina Sugita was finally set up for a shot (that went wide) at 41'. INAC players are patiently building from the back-line, but it's mostly sterile possession, not finding any breach in Stella's defense. I've got the feeling that INAC could fancy some more fantasy in their actions (although I must admit Nojima is defensively well deployed).
H.T. Nojima 0 INAC 0.....I suppose from Nojimas point of view..so far so good.... defence looks good....It looks hot. edit..and while the game remains at 0-0 it's not beyond Nojima to steal it also can't remember an INAC game where Emi Nakajima was so uninvolved
These are not just good news: these are great news! Let's hope this season marks a late resurgence of her awesome career.
Deity returns. (I have to go and suck 20 lemons to wipe the smile off my face) Shame about the ko time will miss end of Nojima INAC
There were changes at HT, but the voice of the announcer at the stadium wasn't clear: I only understood that Moeno Sakaguchi was in for INAC... Edit: I also see Ayu Nakada on the pitch. Probably Takase and Masuya were out? Edit 2: No, Takase is still on the pitch; it must have been Nakajima who left the game. Not sure about Nojima: I seemed to hear Mebae Tanaka in, but I am not sure.
I was just going to write that Nojima Stella was attacking more in this 2nd Half: and they go on scoring at 61'! INAC's defending was quite sloppy, but the action was neat, Hikari Hirata scored, if I am not wrong. 1-0 Stella, and I wonder what INAC is going to do right now: they have some decent offensive actions, but so far they weren't really close to scoring.
Blunder by Nojima's GK on a CK (she let the ball slip out of her hand) and INAC almost scores, but Tanaka doesn't manage to shot, and the subsequent shot (Nakada's?) is wide. CK for Nojima on the other side: now the match has become entertaining: and it's goal!!! No, apparently disallowed (not sure why). Now we have CK after CK on both sides.
65 mims...Nojima 2 INAC 0......This certainly is turning out to be an eventful season...Off to watch the green machine ...enjoy the rest of the game Edit .....obviously wrong thought it had been deleted was flicking between screens
It is very hot in Kanagawa today. The heat is definitely helping Nojima, because INAC are not playing with much urgency. I will take it of course. But Kitano coach started the game with Nakano and Kawajima on the pitch and Nojima have looked better. Nakano is very good on the ball, so she gives the team a chance to settle the play down.
It was goal or it wasn't? The graphic (and the Nadeshiko website) keep showing a 1-0 score. Not clear.
