Not sure if the likes of Shoji Toyama and Koki Saito can count as one but they aren't talked about the same as above despite being seen as having potential.

I really thought a player like Furuhashi would be really interesting for Europe. But seems no.

He's got several offers actually, it's just Kobe that refused. Probably not enough money

Rumors of Man City interested in buying Koki Saito and loaning him out ala Itakura and Meshino.

Its a weird business City are up to. They're becoming like some pseudo-agent.

    Where did you see it?
That would be a surprise but I would be very happy about that. More power to Centrebacks!
It's incredible to think that now Japan's weakness has become the midfield...

News came from Japanese twitter, not sure how reliable though. It mentioned that a move to the Belgian league is possible.

Just came across it, not sure if it is rumored or confirmed. Just surprised that Toichi Suzuki went earlier ahead of the likes of Yuya Oki, Mitoma, Ayumu Seko, Aoh Tanaka, etc. Thought they may have performed better this year imo.

Yes but a club like Lausanne can't buy someone like Mitoma, so not really comparable. We don't really know what kind of negotiations might be going in the background for them. While I'm quite sure this was the only offer Suzuki had...

I have some suspicions he can adapt to the ultra-physical playstyle of the Russian league.

Have abit of reservations about this as well, may be too small for the Russian league. Somewhere like Belgium or Netherlands might be more suitable for him.

Football: Kawasaki's Hidemasa Morita to join Portuguese side Santa Clara (kyodonews.net)
Morita's one seems to be certain but still not officially confirmed yet.

Aoh Tanaka and Mitoma seems to have performed just as good as him if not better this season imo, not sure why there are no offers for them yet

And Yuya Oki, Keisuke Osako and Kosei Tani are not really too far from Kosuke Nakamura at least for this season imo.

Doesn't sound like a super appealing offer, but at age 25 the clock is ticking for Morita if he aspires to have a quality European career. As the best holding #6 in domestic football you'd think he'd get better opportunities.

Portuguese league is a solid step to Europe, the style of play isn't so different from J. League, it's comparable.

I'm surprised though: if you asked the first player to leave Frontale from this amazing season, I wouldn't have bet on Morita.

Mitoma and Tanaka are younger, higher (financial) upside prospects who will hold out for a more optimal deal.
