Disappointing draw. It feels like we are running out of steam the closer we get to the playoffs. And worse yet, Chicago could now move within 1 point of second. When the shortest man on the field scores a header...Go on, @mmoralezoficial! #NYCvHOU https://t.co/rtG7Su3kno— Major League Soccer (@MLS) September 23, 2017
Massive game for us. Hopefully the talk of Columbus moving throws them off a bit. This is a must win. #NYCFC XI vs. @ColumbusCrewSC | 🔵 🆚 👷 | 10.22.2017 pic.twitter.com/CwXdSYnioy— New York City FC (@newyorkcityfc) October 22, 2017
Time to kick it into gear. The team has been way too lax the last few months. We go again... #MakeItHereTHE XI ⬇️https://t.co/fojQO72DA0— New York City FC (@newyorkcityfc) October 31, 2017
It's over. The team has been on vacation since the summer and they aren't coming back from it. NYCFC is pretty much where the Redbulls were with Henry. Completely dependent on one player, and if he can't carry then we don't win. I really hope they address this in the summer. Villa is going to be 36 next season, and it's only going to be harder for him to do everything.
Another season over. I wouldn't mind if Columbus ends up winning it with all the crap that is happening to them at the moment. Still a lot of work that needs to be done if we ever want to win it. Probably at least 2-3 solid players away. Whoever is our next DP, I hope they are a big personality. There's way too many pedestrians on the team.
It's going to be quite telling who our next DP is going to be. Are they going to look for somebody to help ease the scoring load off Villa's shoulders or are they going to look to sell YaYa jersey's in 2018?
Can't say I'm too disappointed, because I didn't think we'd even get this close to taking the series. The match was a fantastic microcosm of the pass three months or so.......poor decision making, poor first touch, shots hitting the post, etc..... Agree with the DP comment. It's going to be interesting come January to see the direction this club is going to take.

I just hope they wait until after the World Cup to make a move. There will be many more options to choose from after the tournament is over.
Yep I would wait as well. I think Sands should get a look at DM next to Ring after Herrera leaves or Mo Edu is available from Philly and I think he'd do well playing at that spot.
