Seems to be the Algarve in March ;o( So, who is going? Did I tell you all that, from that Tokyo bar in Japan, one of the Belle supporters I met was there in 2013, same time as blissett actually. This is her own photo of Kado: Full Bloom Guidebook has more news: Niigata's goalkeeper Koganemaru Sachie has injured her right knee and will be out for about three months. AS Elfen Saitama have confirmed that Saito Yuri, Takahashi Yuko, Uchida Saki, Yamazaki Sayuri, Takeyama Yuko and Hara Ayumi will leave. Hara Ayumi as you probably know first played in the league in 1993.
After midnight Twit check: @FullBloomGuide: Yamada Maho and Imai Haruka have left INAC Kobe. What happened to those young players has infuriated me for two years.
According to this article in the Potsdammer Evening News, a (former?) Japanese U-17 player (unnamed) will have a try-out for Potsdam, along with a Serbian player (also unnamed). The article seems to imply (if my German is up to the mark..) they may choose one of the two, but maybe #5nadeshikofan could translate. http://www.pnn.de/regionalsport/925449/
edit: people who are more au fait with the last U-17 squad than I can probably come up with a short list of who it might be based on who is (or will be) still in high school or not.
FullBloom is guessing Hina Sugita or Yui Hasegawa. I cant believe it would be Sugita or really anyone walking straight out of school. Does article reference the u17WWCup winning team? With Asano already there, maybe it is indeed Hasegawa.
Yes, it seems to say (again, #5nadeshikofan, help..) the player is a U17 "World Champion" which would mean a member of the cup-winning squad.
So they have already hired China's National goaley Wang Fei. The japanese is indeed a U-17 Worldchampion, currently available on the market. Sounds like one of the girls is without a club right now, willing to go overseas. No names mentioned, though. However, she is a MF.
I don't remember correcty but wasn't there a HS or SH floating around when there was talk about transfers ladt time...?
I tend to agree. The Frauen BL winter season starts Feb 15th. From memory, Japanese high schools graduate the beginning of March (first week, usually). So the timing would be a very close-run thing... something would have to give, plus it would be very difficult to jump in 'cold' like that.. not sure it would be advisable. oh... cutie pie!!
Neither Ohno nor Kinga seemed to be get much playing time. especially after the first few months after they arrived. Why did they failed at Arsenal? Is the skill level in FA WSL that much higher than in Japan. Is it the language barrier, size?
Actually missed this first time, maybe it is Sugita after all........... In this interview published today that she didn't want to go to university and sounds determined to step up a level http://www.sankei.com/region/news/150108/rgn1501080025-n1.html
Wow things are happening at Urawa: Dozono Ayano, who started every game in Urawa's successiveful league campaign, has retired. She is twenty-four years old. So much for success in this game!
I dont know that they "failed" at Arsenal. In England they seem to play a hectic schedule with at least 3 concurrent tournaments, and players have to be rotated. But yes they were in and out, not what one could call "success". One wonders if the JFA/Sasaki weighs up the experience v the availability of players for any friendlies that might pop up, or even training camps.
Well, since she was one of the few "survivors" of Urawa's last previous Nadeshiko title in 2009, winning again this year, after 5 years of struggle, probably gave her a sense of completion... Something on the lines of: "Mission accomplished: I can retire now, while I am on the peak of satisfaction!" Anyway, I'll admit that 24 is really a young age to leave.
Not sure how long it took, but it looks like today they won one, against Shizuoka! Although it was "just" inter-collegiate championship, I guess: Ndsk120 uploaded highlights from this other match: I guess it's from inter-collegiate championship also, but I didn't understand which teams were playing . Can anyone help?
"Okayama Nadeshiko News" had a pair other interesting videos. One is yet another highlights' video from the Empress' Cup quarter-final between Vegalta and Belle; Miyama's and Sameshima's fans, enjoy! The other one looks like a sort of recap of Belle's 2014 season:
Dozo-NO!!! Don't go!! I had such high hopes for us! You have a point though, Profe. If you're going to go out, you might as well go out on top. But if your right fride, that would be pretty cool. I'd be happy for her, but I would have to organize a mob consisting of Big Red and Little Red to meet the "lucky" guy at least once... foam and plushie baseball bats may or may not be required, I haven't decided yet. Ms. Asano's (nickname pending) smile does make me feel a bit better, though.
Hinomoto's keeper caught in a nasty collision in the 10th minute (cleat to the face, looks like) & has to come off. Up to this point Hinomoto has seen slightly more of the ball. edit -- after a long delay she comes back on. The feed is delayed by about 5 min, btw.
Tokiwagi tightening their grip on midfield and looking the more dangerous in first-half injury time. Both sides lacking in the final third, however. HT: 0-0
first substitute for Tokiwagi in what must be the 85th minute.. edit - sorry, their second... must have missed one
