The situation was dealt with appropriately by the parties involved. Calling it overblown or blaming the victim are unproductive.

This championship thing is nonesense not to mention unfair to the teams which picked most points over the season...

indeed it was and all started after the mistake of Sanfrecce defense. Nagasawa speculated well that mistake.

I'm glad Sanfrecce won the first leg (away) against Gamba.

Let's hope Hiroshima won't squander their title.

Really Gamba had the match in control until that pointless red-card. That changed the whole match and gave Hiroshima confidence. I've already seen reports of anti-Korean tweets because of that player, but lets see if they investigate those like they did Patrick's case...

lol, I just waited for that! Somehow even 2ch users became aware that's not a that big deal because there's no Urawa (or Saitama) to blame! NHK brought it up so you should read their 180 degrees different posts like 'lol, stop it NHK', 'in baseball there are even worse cases after many games', 'Japanese players are also attacked after games'. lolololol. Waiting for a transparent saying supporting Oh (for scoring red card)! Booo, Reds!

But it's going to be forgotten among the countless mistakes that happen.

Imagine you are Halilhodžić scouting some new defenders from the team that allowed the least amount of goals over the course of the season. Then you see that...

there is no similarities between these type of mistakes, it wasn't a final, and that certaily doesn't speak about the level of the defenders in the league either
if "everybody makes mistakes" was a good parameter, the JLeague would be the most skilled league in the world

It's a simple lack of focus and communication, happens everywhere. Hiroshima's defense was pretty immaculate this season.

It seems like Gamba started the game well with constant pressure on Sanfrecce players but stopped doing that after scoring first goal. That's probably a lesson from previous game when they were leading twice yet lost. With Gamba lead the game is now open.

Let's see how Sanfrecce will play in the second half. They will sit at the back or will go for the goal. They should attack.

    Justice prevailed.

Congratulations to Sanfrecce Hiroshima and Hajime Moriyasu for winning their 3rd J-League title in 4 years.

If I'm not wrong Moriyasu is the first Japanese coach to gain this unprecedented honour.
