Robben is apoplectic. Looks like he's trying to do it all in the first period of over time too.
RVP, Huntelaar, Lens, Robben, Sneijder, and Kuyt all at once... Van Gaal really throwing everything at them at this point

Smart coaching there. I'd bet my life that Krul was designated to scout and train specifically for PKs ... 'guessed' right every time. Thats research and preparation.

Robben seems to be sorry, don't know what has he done. He kept running a lot, I don't think they can win against Argentina, they will be gassed out.

Everyone in my neighborhood is going crazy and fireworks are all over the place, I really don't get it. Netherlands should have done the job way earlier than going through an entire barrage of extra time and penalty kicks. Now I do hope they beat Argentina, I am still heartbroken after what they did to Iran and I don't think I will ever get over it!

I know it, it's wrong to dislike them because they did their job as professionals. But you know, as fan you have such emotions you can't control. I wouldn't care less if we lost 3-0 or 4-0, but losing in extra time when you are on verge of achieving something historic which may happen once in a lifetime, is just a bitter pill and I can't take it!

Even if you guys drew against Argentina, you guys would still not qualify unless you guys beat Bosnia.

I am hoping for Argentina vs Brazil but with Neymar, Thiago Silva and Di Maria missing I think my logic tells me Netherlands vs Germany

    Doesn't matter.
A draw against Argentina would be historical and like a win for them qualified or not. An opportunity they missed and that will come not before 4 years passed (or more).

Seems that we're in the same boat, I remember back in 2010 I had so much expectation for this world cup and suddenly...

    Anyway, it's just 4 more years:D

Good lord, less than 30 minutes in and Germany is winning 4-0. That's brutal.

Probably none will believe me but I know this will happen.

I'm for Netherlands but this Germany seems a no mercy machine (and they have all the right to do so).

This is what i call karma. They've bullied and dove their way up to this point relying on very favorable officiating... and it cost them neymar (on a bit of a 'payback' foul.. tho i dont think they ever intended to injure him) ... and now with a ref that wont hand them the penalties they're so desperately begging for.... theres nothing left.

The germans are clinical with their chances.

With a different referee in the QF match maybe we will have a good Colombia vs Germany instead of this ridiculous match.

However I agree that this is ********ing karma.
