the off-season has started here in indiana. in our forum, i've put together a list of players that we have on the roster to end the season, along with the little contract information that i've been able to find, so we can track the roster through the winter. are there any resources where we can find out the length of players' contracts to see who should be back next season?

The Armada have officially signed four players so far . . . Goalkeeper Miguel Gallardo from Orlando City, Argentine Fabricio Ortiz as a defender, Midfielders Lucas Rodriguez from Minnesota United, , and Colombian midfielder Jamie Castrillon most recently of the Colorado Rapids.

Someone remind me, is there an international player limit in the NASL?

Yes. In 2014 the limit was 7.

While there are limits to the size of the active rosters for each team (30) and the number of foreign players permitted per team (7), the league does not impose a salary cap on its members.

Good pickup for the Cosmos, I've always liked Lucky.

Cosmos can do better than Mwanga, hope he is not back for 2015.

You know, he played very well initially in a role he is suited for, then picked up a knock and never really featured again after. I prefer him to Hans D, who really didn't do anything all season after coming over from scorpions.

    WAITING ON AN AGREEMENT
Flores hopes to remain with the Cosmos as Salvadoran national team players continue to make NASL mark

“They are talking about it with my agent and I don’t have more details on it, but I think they are working on that,” he told BigAppleSoccer.com recently.

Indy Eleven Professional Soccer brought its 2015 roster picture further into focus today with the announcement that at least eight players from the squad’s inaugural season will be returning to the NASL squad next year. Goalkeeper Kristian Nicht; defenders Jaime Frias, Kyle Hyland, Cory Miller and Erick Norales; and midfielders Kleberson, Brad Ring and Don Smart have all had their options picked up or have resigned contracts with Indiana’s Team for the team’s second season of play in 2015.

Indy Eleven also announced it has declined the options on seven other players that were a part of last year’s inaugural season squad: goalkeepers Jon Dawson and Nathan Sprenkel, defenders Chris Estridge and Andrew Stone, midfielder Jermaine Johnson and forwards Mike Ambersley and Jhulliam.

    REINFORCEMENTS
Cosmos expect to sign Chilean Jaime Valdez

Reinforcements appear to be on the way for the New York Cosmos, as BigAppleSoccer.com has learned that the North American Soccer League side could be closing in on a deal with Chilean Jaime Valdez.

A league source said that the Cosmos have been in negotiations with Valdez to bring the experienced Chilean midfielder to the ambitious club. At 33-years-old, Valdez is still an integral part of Colo Colo in Chile where he usually plays centrally but can also play along the wings.

That could be a great signing, if it happens.

That is a pretty good salary if true, man this team has to be bleeding money if they are going to pay salaries like that and average 6K in attendance.
