I like how the TFC announcer is lamenting their missed chances and brought to the audience's attention that in the next 45 minutes of the game you know Philadelphia will create one or two chances of their own. One or two. Unfortunately, that is about right.
After the first 45: Either TFC does not deserve the 0-9 record or the Union are certainly the 2nd worst team in the league. TFC announcers have been pretty much spot on about both teams so far.
TFC's graphics guy is a moron. Said Ruiz retired, can't count corners, definitely not smarter than a 5th grader...
so: to sum up the first 45.......... Union have been run off the pitch by the "worst team in the world." If Toronto didn't have Red-eye...... it would be 4-0. So they have that going for them, which is nice. "and there's a pass to Mwanga. Mwanga........... Since the pre-game, I don't think we've mentioned his name"............... (Toronto feed commentary). Looking forward to another half of torture.
disgraceful 1st half performance besides Konopka who has been good and Herdling who is showing a level of class above anyone else on the field. 3 thoughts... -Gaddis was awful... I thought he was a natural RB? His looked like he had 2 left feet out there today, glad he got the hook as we couldn't continue wasting opportunities with Herdling seemingly in-form today -Our formation or lack thereof is mind-boggling. I have no idea what Brian Carroll or Michael Farfan are doing out there. Carroll's been a CB, DM and still decides to chase people past midfield and somehow ends up leading the attack on occasions... play your goddamn role today! You wonder why they keep kicking balls over the top right down the middle... -Again, I mention it every week. Michael Farfan has tools that no one else besides Adu and Daniel have on the team. He is really good taking the ball down the wing and taking people on. So why was he playing behind Gaddis at times, when Ray was still in the game, and why does he tuck into the middle so much. Control the wing, that's your job! And on another note, why do we slide him back to RB instead of Lahoud. Farfan is clearly the better more dangerous offensive player, makes no sense, when Lahoud was advertised as a RB more than anything else. I hope we lose at this point, because if we can't outplay a team that doesn't even have a point in league play we deserve to have our season essential ended today
We are the worst team in the world, we are the worst team in the world, We Are The Worst Team in The World, Because we have the worst COACH in the World!!!!!
Our new style of play.......avoid the midfield entirely Hoofball 101 We can not string 3 passes together I hope parents are not allowing their impressionable kids to watch this....its obscene!
Our midfield is non-existent, Toronto gets the ball and somehow breaks out with ease and all the time/space in the world. This franchise is a joke in general
Because the manager likes DMs. But, actually, it appears that Lahoud has indeed slipped over to the RB position early on in this 2nd half. This is astonishingly true. It is amazing to say because this roster actually has too many midfielders.
He's just a minion of King Peter. In the pre-game show he said stuff like: I've never scene a team do better in moving players around different positions on the pitch.
If you substitute the word "better" with "more," then the statement makes sense... Wow, no call on that break-away take-down against Mwanga. I'd like to see a replay. Edit: I watched my own replay and the defender did well to get to the ball. Mwanga did poor in shielding the ball.
What a difference a year makes. Last time we played in Toronto, we looked like we could make a run for the MLS Cup. Now were fighting them in the basement of the league.
Let's sub in another untested player, Brilliant!!!!!! Nowak leave now please, I can't stand watching anymore!!!!!!!!
