    Gorgeous!

I'm afraid I won't find this jersey in Brazil.

Bit the bullet and bought it. Mostly because I had a 20% off coupon.

I'm ready for all the hate.

Yes, I know I'm supporting Adidas' shitty designers, shoot me now. :)

To be honest, I never really like the new kits when they come out, but once you adjust to it for a couple of months it isn't so bad.

    this.
Can't hate, we'll all end end up buying it and it's better than the white with this horrible scribble messing everything.

I'm just waiting for the numbers players then I'll make my choice.

cool, definitely agree. I'd say how I feel about a jersey (and it's probably the same for most fans) is correlated to how successful the team is in that jersey.

So even though the 2006-07 jersey is objectively the best looking one, I don't like as much as the 2010 one or the 2002 one just cause of how unsuccessful they were with it. Though the 2002 one looked awesome.

I don't think I'll buy this one, i'll wait until they release the next one which would be the 2014-15 jersey.

Yea, I skipped the last one because of the red square, but after seeing this year's I completely gave-up hope that they'd get rid of it in the future.

So I decided what the hell and bought it.

    Defenders:

    Gudmundur Kristjánsson (Breidablik)
    Skúli Jón Fridgeirsson (KR Reykjavík)
    Hallgrímur Jónasson (SønderjyskE)
Elfar Freyr Helgason (AEK Athens FC).

    Midfielders:
    Helgi Valur Daníelsson (ÍA Akranes)
    Theódór Elmar Bjarnason (Randers FC)
    Steinthór Freyr Thorsteinsson (Sandnes Ulf)
    Ari Freyr Skúlason (Sundsvall IF)

    Arnór Smárason (Esbjerg BK)
    Matthías Vilhjálmsson (FH Hafnarfjördur)
    Gardar Jóhannsson (Stjarnan).

Understandably for the non-FIFA matchday they wouldn't be able to scrape their best team.

Not a clue who any of these players are lol. They didn't do any good in WCQ or ECQ.

Speaking of which, I know nothing of their strength and quality. How are Iceland team, style of play, their Domestic League?

also regarding the Japan kits, If I were to purchase, where can I order it online? P.S. I live in USA, and the site I know, Eurosport.com will accept pre-order that ships in June! 79.99 Home, no Away (white), yet.

I think Yuki Abe is also out, with Hiroyuki Taniguchi replacing him.

So basically the only viable CF's in the team are Maeda, and possibly Junya Tanaka.
In a 4-2-3-1 I think Zac will go:

    Maeda
    Tanaka---Kashiwagi---Okubo
    Nakamura*---Masuda
    Komano---Konno---Iwamasa*---Inoha*
    Yamamoto

*: Kurihara might be the CB, and Makino may play RB, and Endo obviously may be CM. The players I have are the ones I'd rather see (for different reasons, not all about quality).

I think Masuda will get a go, and Zac will give Okubo a chance. The reason for Inoha/Makino as the RB is because I think Zac will give some considerable gametime to a 3-4-3 and having either of those guys already in will make it easier to switch formation.
It's already been mentioned, but the young additions like Shibasaki/Kubo/Hayashi are very unlikely to play similar to when Usami was called up to train with the 1st team.

Japan should not have any problem against this Icelandic team.

They are bigger and stronger but Japan should win.

I'd like to see Endo playing, he's really close to Ihara's caps-record with japanese shirt.

They had a 20% off customer appreciation campaign going on, but I think that its over now

They do not have any kits with player names or numbers though. For that you'll probably have to use Rakuten of Amazon.jp, but it will be shit ton for shipping if you don't live in Japan.

Wow that's something I'd love to see (though won't go and expect too much just yet). Though I hope Shibasaki isn't put next to Endo, I'd rather he be put next to Masuda or another player who isn't using the role as defensive playmaker (ie more Hasebe than Endo).

Has anyone seen how the team is lining up in training for Fridays game? I am hearing 3-4-3 or 4-2-3-1 with MAKINO on the left

Unfortunately it looks like the chance of Kubo, Shibasaki, or Isomura playing is unlikely.

As for the starting members this seems to be close to what Zac might choose.

    --------Maeda----------
    Okubo--Kengo--Fujimoto
    ------Endo---Masuda----
    Komano------------Inoha
    ------Konno--Kurihara----
    --------Nishikawa--------

Fullbacks and Wingers are still up in the air in my opinion.

I don't know what exactly it is that Kurihara does on the training ground to keep getting picked over Iwamasa. Only thing I could think of is the fact he's younger. But he's not up to scratch for the role of the 'big' CB to partner Konno (based on the fact Kurihara won 1 header the whole NK game).

Sort of interested to see Okubo play again.
