    What a save by the Brazil keeper on Hayakawa. Then Iwanami with teh goal at his mercy sends it wide.

    This is it. I dont care that they lost. This is what I wanted them to show. That they are a better team, that they fight till the end.


    Great job well done, so "sad" I wont be able to watch them anymore on this tournament but looking forward seeing them again in other matches where is the I bow my head smiley when you need it!!!!!

    they have no idea that youthful weeping after defeat is a major Japanese tradition.

    Didn't expect us to nearly come back even so for me the last 15 minutes have made up for the first 75 minutes...

    But with this narrow loss, I am wondering how it would have went with good pitch conditions...

    The third was just a few centimeters away. Finally the Brazilian were tired and then we became the boss as usual.

    Cant remember every word but he said Brazil's individual strength was impressive and throughout all the big competitions in the next several years he's certain that our players would use this experience and continue improving. Overall his tone was virtuous I really liked it.

    Great game after all. Brazilians looked really relieved after the final whistle. They knew that 5 more minutes could bring an end of their way. Still, they won respect from opponents and hearts of the crowd for sure. So respect for those boys.
