Okazaki failed alone without goalkeeper, but he didn´t hit clearly to the ball and it was out, and Terada shot the ball with his head in a corner, but a defender saved it and Tulio caught the reject but he shot to the goalkeeper.
looooooooooll i'm surprised tulio hasn't scored yet what a shame they're not showing this on al kass.
Bad luck for Kagawa, failed two goals and did a penalty... And the third goal Ôkubo was lucky but the combination between several players was great. The second maybe in offside, I don´t know sure... and Nagatomo had a highway in his side ^^U

Mohamad Zeno who scored our goal and goalkeeper Musab Balhous saved us from a huge shame.Japan was really good.We were good at the end,the goal gave us confidence. In first half Ziad Shaabo´s freekick hit the post. Too bad that Firas,Jehad and Omar didn´t play because of their clubs.Anyway we have to improve a lot if we want to qualify to Asian Cup!!!!!!!
Yes,the second was maybe offside, that is why our defenders didn´t defend this attack. But anyway congrats.
The 2nd wasn't offside. it was fairly close, but that's just beating the defence when that happens, it was an intelligent ball and Tamada just beat the offside trap. Intelligent game from Kengo. even though it was only Syria, I like how Japan tries to create momentum better now with a series of quick passes that are clearly practised on a training ground. Then the 4 strikers or so could invent something. But damn, they didn't miss Shunsuke, it just made them play an entirely different game.
Other than Takagi, who as usual created problems for his own defence, generally the team didn't play too badly. It was nice to see some other players besides Shunsuke being given a chance to shine on the wings. I liked Kagawa and Tatsuya Tanaka's industry down the wings. I guess this was a good day for the strikers: they actually bundled the ball into the net for a change.

http://hochi.yomiuri.co.jp/soccer/japan/news/20081119-OHT1T00302.htm Japan will play Netherlands on 5 September 2009.
Now theres some news! Too bad it's a year ago, we could really do with some more quality opponents before March...
Fantastic. That'll be shortly after the last qualifiers so it'll be a good assessment a year or so from WC 2010.
Japan to play in 2011 Copa America hell good. Playing against sides like Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay. Fantastic. Way too far away to care now.
