Players are called up but it's up to them as to whether or not they accept. They don't get paid from their nations but sponsorship money would be large so that's an incentive (as if playing for your country isn't enough.)

man if he puts euro players the next year, how the hell are they gonna adjust!

    ....
i hear no news on daisuke matusi lately

    ....

random thought...i think zico screwed matsui's chances of international call ups, i reckon matsui woulda been a star at the world cup...but no, zico had to leave him out!!!! he had potential...sorry just bitter because i miss the japan abroad players...i really do miss them playing international games!!! and i miss shinji ono!!! i'm sounding gay, but i'm depressed at everything!!!

    ^Um, cheer up? =X

I don't understand why Maki is still in the set up. The guy hasn't scored in a million years and looks like a lost sheep these days.

Daisuke can be a superstar for Japan and potential replacement for Nakata.
Maki is a tactical option...but I think Hirayama offers the same thing and is a better striker (goal instinct)

Matsui still has chance. I have heard that few JFA members were watching his play lately.

    Is Bandou injured?

Yup, some problem with a tendon somewhere. Otherwise he'd be a shoo-in for the first eleven I think.

Him and Ganaha have been on fire recently.

Yeah, it would be fun to go.
I think Hanoi is nicer than Saigon as a city, people are nicer too, at least in my own experience. Saigon people are very money-oriented ;)
If you have time, go to Hue and Hoi An.

nah, i've got vietnamese heritage, i have a problem with the northern accent people (i can't understand it accent, to poshie woshies and my northern side of the family a total snobs to me), the only reason why Saigon is money oriented is because the government doesn't use money on Saigon to fix the goddamn place and clean it up,they spend it all on Ha noi, thats why it looks good, and since the Commies originated from the North (damn bastards). Saigon a bitter because they don't like being commies and they want the old flag back and you see all the rich bastards live in Ha noi , thats why they seem nicer, and leave the Southern people to go all bitter.

anyway i think all of vietnam is corrupt.

but the Japan team have to becareful, Vietnam isn't exactly a safe place to play

but i still wanna go when is the asian cup again, wait my mums going to vietnam next yer, she better buy me something or she'll die by my hissy fits

Chinese and Vietnamese don't really look that much different though, I swear.

If only they played in Malaysia, instead of China and Iran. Then I could drive up there instead of taking a plane LOL. I dont want to see that stupid arrogant pig of a Chinese coach again too after having watched him declare that his team was going to whoop us (Singapore) 4-0 or 5-0. And fall flat on his face completely.
