i've never been a taylor fan looks-wise... but that guy in that picture... YUM w00t! then again... never going to happen.
He is a two-footed player, he can play on both sides but I think his left is considered stronger. As far as free kicks I don't really know as he has played on such great teams they have probably never needed his services for the duty. With Barca, Inter, etc there is usually someone a little more capable than Francesco Coco. I bet in the MLS he could step up, it seems about his style. I predict him to fit into Khano's role perfectly if this pipe dream came a reality.
Actually, they gain credibilty, as New England is never mentioned as one of the usual destinations such as New York or Los Angeles, so understanding this, it creates a slightly greater sense of legitimacy.
a couple of girls in my office got whiplash noticing this picture mmm... i've always had a weakness for soccer player bodies. yum!
If I'm not mistaken, the following story (posted just a few minutes ago) indicates that Inter Milan and Coco have agreed to a termination of contract: http://it.eurosport.yahoo.com/07092007/35/calcio-inter-ufficiale-rescissione-contratto-0.html
And if I'm not mistaken...He would be a player "not under contract" and thus available to join the New England Revolution until Sept 15th.... The the rampant speculation beg err. continue!
I'd hesitate to even speculate on this: it just seems so unlikely considering the reported character of the player, the possible price the Revs would have to pay for him, etc.
Yikes, I can't help but feel when he sees the NFL lines he is going to want to sniff them up until his head is numb so he doesn't realize what footballing purgatory he landed in and what an ugly pitch his playing on. (NOTE: not a swipe at the Revs, rather the reality that plagues MLS to this day, playing on NFL lines...) Here is hoping the Revs get a proper stadium SOON!!!
